Off the top of my head, it takes 24hrs to regenerate the plasma from when you get your blood drawn. As for red blood cells, which are responsible for carrying oxygen thru your bloodstream, it takes about a month.

Because of the blood cell part, most athletes (or at least pro cyclers and runners) don't donate blood, as doing so will have a huge impact on their performance for weeks.

They also reused the CG models of dead human bodies as the live refugees at the Tower of Conviction. Not to mention that they copy-paste the same 3-4 male refugee models.
I swear, this was the ugliest anime series ever animated of the 21st century. I've never seen anything as hamfisted is this.

Wonder if the hiatus this time was so he could get his sea-legs in the realm of digital art.

Personally I didn't hate the most recent chapters art style, but lots of people did. It's possible he was aware of the change but felt pressured by editors.

Either that, or he's just getting older and his style is changing. I still think it looks fine, but nothing will ever compare to about halfway through the Falcon of the Millennium Empire Arc.

I actually got into berserk when I was 15 , 11 years ago, because I had heard a bunch of people bigging it up , saw how many chapters there were and decided to just open one up about half or 2/3 of the way through and it turned out to be the tower of conviction arc.

And it was intense.
I have never encountered another arc in any manga with such amazing pacing. the way the stakes ever heighten and the climax reaches higher and higher is just masterful.

infact it might be the greatest arc in this respect of any medium

It's easy to misinterpret it as overly edgy, but it really shows how people cling to life even in the worst of times and how complaining about your current situation does nothing to improve it.

That's why it's my favorite. It shows so much about both life and the story of Berserk. Just that line alone fleshes out Guts' character a lot. He knows what happens after you die and he knows that something even worse will happen when he dies. Smugly telling someone to kill themselves may even show how Guts would kill himself in a heartbeat if he didn't know about what happens after death.
