So basically this guy worked on two good "mature" anime over thirty years ago, worked on a bunch of mahou shoujo, kids' shows, and low budget highschool-setting throwaway OVAs for the rest of the 80s and 90s, then got fed up with doing that stuff and founded his own in-between studio, only to realize too late that random in-between studios don't have any traction or influence, and now he has to do whatever he can get hired for, while blaming the industry for his own poor choices and inability to properly handle his career.
