Just to let people know, I HAVE been working on it and making progress while busy with other things. I've just been otherwise engaged and it's a wordswords chapter, at least compared to WCW's norm. So essentially she was resurrected as a Fire Elemental. Many of us suspected that Ayaka was born in unusual circumstances, but I don't think any of us suspected that Honoka of all people was the one who (re)created her.

Functionally they are probably the same thing. I mean Evermillion WAS a fire demon, but she was recreated to fit Honoka's own heart and soul. What you were before is changed when you bond with someone.

I just realised, that this means Ayaka is almost in the same Category as Tanpopo's paper dolls. They are genuine sentient creatures, but they are also bound to their creators. This makes the battle in the first chapter even more strange in retrospect.

We know that Honoka will have to have his memories erased and powerful seals placed upon him to contain what we assumed was just Evermillion, but actually the bulk of his immense power. It's fair to assume that his personality suffered a great deal from losing his memories and then losing all of his powers, regressing to a beta male mode. Well that is always a possibility. Much like Honoka influenced Evermilion, Ayaka could have became the girl Honoka most desired. But knowing Ayaka that was what she would have wanted to begin with.

One can ask questions on how much free will Ayaka truly has. But to be fair Honoka-kyun is such a sweet boy that we couldn't possibly accuse him of abusing his power over her. He had proven himself to be an upstanding young man and deserve the benefit of the doubt.

Honoka wanted nothing more than saving Ayaka's life. He had no ulterior motive and took all the personal risks to make sure she was okay. It is this kind of purity that managed to subjugate a fire devil.

However, what we learned just might explain a prior incident. Remember when Ayaka "powered up" by wearing Honoka's shirt? It made no sense in terms of established rules. But if we now take it as given that she is at least partially his Summon, then you could say she was getting magic out of herself that she wasn't aware she had, because she wasn't sure about her own true nature.

In a way, yes. But the deal that Honoka made with Evermillion implicitly called for Honoka's life and made it very clear he would also take Ayaka down with him. It's only because Ayaka called her contract out that Honoka managed to live. Ayaka still "dies" however. Note that her death takes place as a result of 'returning' the power and breaking the Retainer contract, but if Honoka had died, her source of power would have died also.

Contract that has Ayaka taking some of Honoka's magic for herself, in exchange for transferring all his injuries to her.
This contract was cancelled after the Weekend incident. The "cancelling" was a deliberate loophole that Ayaka had placed, exactly to allow her to save Honoka's life in an emergency.

The Retainer contract is basically unbreakable, because Honoka had placed a piece of his very existence insider her. She herself was likely unaware of this contract existing.

Kazane realised that he inherited her magic powers and is effectively her son. She tried to raise him as best she could as a responsible and moral wizard. But he ended up doing exactly what Kazane would do and placed innocent lives above mere rules. He was too moral for his own good.

The side effect of saving Komachi was that her children ended up with magic. In Honoka's case, he was potentially powerful enough to eventually match Kazane herself and could be considered her heir. She ended up training him to make sure he wouldn't go on a rampage and give the other witches a reason to investigate him and find out what she had done.

Let's assume Medusa isn't actually after more power, but just wanted to challenge Evermillion to find out who is top dog. She would certainly be disappointed that Evermillion herself is skilled (with the destruction and creation skillset) but not able to use her full potential without taping into Honoka as a battery.

But she certainly wouldn't suddenly switch targets, as Honoka himself is not a fighter by any means. Yes, he is getting stronger, but he never received full training. Medusa will likely request a duel once Honoka got his last seal broken, at which point Evermillion would be as strong as she was ever going to get.

She was bound to a fire devil. Since the original intent was to use her as a catalyst to power up her mother, and that she wasn't meant to survive, my theory is that the bonding with the fire devil was going to kill her eventually, and that Kazane euthanized her.

But Honoka refuse to accept this and went above and beyond to drag Ayaka back from the dead. Ayaka's body was entirely unable to be saved because Kazane made sure of it.

After this will Ayaka be capable of restraining herself on not jumping on Honoka at the end? Will there be someone capable of stopping her?

Ayaka has very specific fetishes. Most of which revolves around playing housewife.

But more importantly she is still refusing to appear in front of Honoka naked, because of her shame about her stomach scar. She took the scar off when showing up in a dream sequence, because that is the only way she would allow herself to be seen in a two piece swimwear.
