How was Yuri a great villain? He was shallow and his duels sucked. His backstory and movies were explained in a few minutes and amounted to "I want to kill everything". He was supposed to be incredibly loyal to Leo but that was never explored. Even the sixth ending has him talking to Serena about Leo. Yuri is an example of a bad villain just like all of Arc-V's villains. Every single one of them is half baked and they ride all over each other. The Fusion arc had Leo with his plans, the doctor with his plans, Yuri with his bullshit and Zarc with his revenge. All of these villains were scheming at the same time in the same arc so none of them got proper development.

He isn't a great character, he is a cool one though. He lived his life to the fullest doing what he wanted and went in a way he wouldn't have regrets.

He may have been an antagonist, but not exactly a villain, since he was just having fun and dicking around. It was not as if he was Vector that took complex plans and moved the plot on with his machinations while also doing what he wanted either for pleasure or out of spite and still got redeemed in the end

It's pretty sad that Leo and Yuri's relevance in the plot was teased since the first year, but the staff basically missed their oppurtunity to shine and wasted them.
