I'm sorry to everyone here who actually has ears but doesn't know Japanese, because the simulcast TL dropped the ball fucking hard here. Kasumi adds a new verse to the song, but it's translated the same way.

Which basically means "May our song reach out to everyone". While it started pretty damn embarrassing, I'm still liking the overall development. Kasumi is a good character and getting everyone together for the band feels fulfilling.

It keeps coming up, it's annoying, and we don't really talk about the show much besides Kasumi. In fact, the entire show is Kasumi imposing herself on people. Her maximum overdumb dream overpowering everyone's sense of reality, even in this world. That's how far Kasumi reaches.

I remember watching episode 2 last week and being surprised at how she just walked up to the quiet girl and rubbed against her face like a cat.
Normally, that would be creepy, however-
She controls our very perception of her reality, stealing our sense of time, space, and judgment, drawing us into pure a dumb aura with her siren song and attractive looks.
We believe we have control.
We believe that we can choose to watch this show or not.
However, all of us know the fate that awaits bread girl. We know she joins. She has a family. Younger siblings. Stanch confidence. And as the episode count goes up, we can only shudder in terror at how Kasumi will consume her life with her song.

But if you saw the specials, the VA is nothing special. Rimi and Tae's are absolute beasts at their respective instruments though.

Which I guess kinda makes sense. The other 3 were already established VAs. Kasumi's was one of the no-fun lolis in Milky Holmes, and that one glasses girl in Mikakunin. Arisa was the other Milky Holmes no-fun loli. And Saya's, possibly the most successful, was Ran in Aikatsu, Yayaka in Flip Floppers, Momoka in Sabagebu, and is the main grill in this season's Masamune. And one of the precure mascots.

But Rimi's and Tae's VAs are apparently completely new VAs, so I guess they hired them directly due to their respective bass and lead guitar abilities.

I picked this up for Ayaka, I've liked her a lot since Aikatsu, but man, Kasumi is just the best, both in 2D and 3D. I'm also probably the only person on /a/ who liked FW Milky Holmes.

Would you pay 690000円 (about 6100$) for Kasumi's guitar with LEDs? I'm not an expert, but I would say this is rather expensive for a guitar.

The Mana signature with LEDs (Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois) is 1,180,000円 (about $10K, which is about the same you'd pay for a Gibson Les Paul Billy Gibbons Signature Pearly Gates with aging and semi-hollowing), and even the cheapest version, which isn't ESP anymore but "Edwards", is 155,000円 (about $1.3K, which would still buy you a very nice Les Paul).
