the anime started out good but went down hill fast. tits were on screen a lot and the comedy was pretty funny. the rating game was a good idea to structure obligatory action parts. there were shitty episodes like any one with freed, but they were outweighed by good ones like trying to get a familiar or the pool episode from s2. then s3 comes along and it's almost all stupid drama like the worst episodes from s1-s2 and barely any tits to make up for it. issei doesn't even use dress break anymore since the villains are all monsters and male characters that I don't even care about. there wasn't even a dancing in the ed.

then to make it even worse the biggest complaints from novel readers about s3 aren't that it ruined the fun of the first seasons, but that it had an original ending. no one even seems to care about the boobs when they talk about later volumes. if you read the discussion and didn't know what the thread subject was you would think it was some powelevels garbage series like naruto. there's those future novels where the heroines are all milfs, but they don't even have illustrations so it's obviously half assed. I'll probably watch it anyway but I have zero expectations for s4 of the anime.

From preview is clear, that Ishibumi plans continue with what he started in previous volume. Compartmentalizing girls into simpler narrative units. Rias and Akeno are already pretty much dividualised, and next one are Asia, Xenovia and Irina as church trio, which will come to deal in this volume. Best episode in BorN was episode 13. It was adapted really good from the light novels with just a few dialogue lines to cement it into the BorN timeline (Issei thanking Ravel for the Phoenix tears that saved him).
