long story short, north america is a poisonous wasteland with only a few oasis'. it's split between small city states, some neutral, some divided by ideology; liberalism, collectivism, religious or otherwise.

this is where it gets ANIMAY:
We primarily focus on a group of young girls attending training for various jobs, including self defense, etc. It's basically a military academy for women, teaching them survival, engineering, and specialist skills.
This goes on in the areas dominated by liberalism, automobiles and firearms are revered and kept in either pristine order, or modified for combat.
The factions are too small to control a huge area, so there are massive zones of no mans land. Many citizens make their living from exploring those zones, or patrolling them with the security forces.

The story will revolve around the girls learning to cook, cure, kill, drive, and train self defense as the base. It will be world building, with occasional longer story arcs. F.ex one of the girls accidentally end up having to work with a collectivist to avoid capture. And then they gay. Whatever fuck you.

Basically a libertarian cult more or less worshiping guns, cars, and freedumb. Slightly caricatured, but not too stylized in any way, with a "how the 80s envisioned the future 10 years from then"-kinda style. Girls going on missions, trips to learn how to hunt and cook wild animals, being support troops for the main security forces etc.

It would be great, high school girls, guns, cars, adventure!

Drawing just takes time. The average person you would consider a good artist has spend 5-10 years focusing on drawing for a couple hours a day. Usually for enjoyment. Its much harder for a person to learn how to draw as an adult, with only the goal of doing it to supplement writing.

I base that on personal experience as someone who focuses on writing, but also wants to do storyboarding. Writing teleplays took me just a few months to get down. But I still can't even draw fucking 2 point perspective.

I had an idea a while back for a vietnam war anime, except all the soldiers are cute girls. However, save for the character design, it wouldn't be cutesy SoL, it would be violent, realistic, and surreal. Basically an anime genderswapped Platoon/Full Metal Jacket. I feel like the juxtaposition would be both entertaining and disturbing.
