Elma's best chapter is when she first gets the job and tries to figure out what does the box do. Most of the fun in those panels are the reactions, hope KyoAni can adapt it well. So far I feel the manga has made me laugh more because of those loosely drawn and simple reactions, the quality of the drawings in the anime aren't translating well for that extra comedic punch. Still, the anime is overall better but manga is just funnier.

Kyoani is making the anime cuter, but somehow the manga makes more sense. It's more consistent with the themes. I'm not sure how they'd adapt Iruru at all, given they went over the valentines love potion and refuse to put some of the more violent dialogue.

They won't. As much as I like KyoAni they're very predictable with these types of shows. They'll remove her and put the Tohru's Dad chapter last as climax of the show. The OVA if there is one will most likely be just the hot spring chapter, and seeing how late the anime aired in the season it will probably just be 12 episodes.

Kanna is interesting because she's a God of the indigenous Ainu people up in the north of Japan (Ainu thunder/storm god). Reading up on them recently, and they're an interesting people.
