Is Nausicaa the greatest manga ever made?

Not according to Miyazaki.
>>152894434
No, but it's at least in the same tier.

Is this a Nausicaa thread or a great manga thread? I can't tell.

Because the OP isn't catchy enough and more mangafags are online during the night (EST).

It's extremely underrated, but I wouldn't call it the best.
Pic related is best boy.
It's basically the beatles. Inspiring but compared to todays stuff it's not that special.

If we are only talking about pop music the Beatles are way better then today's stuff.
>>152896429
I honestly can't think of any modern pop band that is better than the Beatles.
>>152894434
Yeah it is.
I wouldn't say the greatest, but it is still one of the best. Art is absolutly gorgeous.

I don't agree. Nausicaa is more fantastic than anything I can remember reading.
It goes somewhere, it doesn't drag on. Take Berserk, it's amazing, but it has gone on for too long already.
>that second-half tonal switch when Nausicaa goes from the infallible, cutesy princess of the early parts (and the movie) to a suicidal bag of nerves struggling to make the right decisions because she's WAY out of her depth (or anybody's)
