I thought Last Order was fine for like the first 3 volumes. The world building they drop in volumes 1 and 2 are really good, lot of good new characters. But ZOTT is way too long, they absolutely make everyone over the top. Alita gets killed and revived TWICE, and she gets trivialized down to a octopus cat and one entire character/several chapters focuses on a perverted karate guy who gets a bullet shot in his asshole.
