Overrated masterpiece

four years long NEET here, it's very overrated. I could not relate to Satou at all because he acted as a fucking retarded about everything, the only he shared with me was his life style.

once you get out of school, you'll notice how people can have many faces. how many chapters has watamote run through by having Tomoko get into wacky hilarious anxiety attacks? there's also the fact that Satou lives on his own and has problems that a guy faces at his age. Tomoko's anxiety at times is just a quirk for 'omg social interactions can be so weird.' it's relatable because it's safe, school, token friend, family's there, etc.
