Does anyone know if the dub of Dark Side of Dimensions retains the music of the original japanese release? Or did they decide to throw out all the music like they did with the dub of the show?

The card games in Yu-Gi-Oh ultimately isn't important, the struggle between the characters are. That is what gave the older series such a heads up against the newer ones, the focus on characters versus being a pure merchandise commercial.

I'm generally not opposed to replacing OST, if at least it's done by competent people. 4K has competent people, but the problems start once they tell them to stop making new music (at around six or eight episodes in) and the music editors just mash the cues together and then it sounds terrible... usually.

Nice and shiny.
I enjoyed the movie and there were maybe 30-40 other people who showed up to the theatre, which was only had one showing. There was only two kids I saw there that ended up falling asleep towards the end. Everyone else was 20+.
The shit thing was that the was a lot of laughter at the cheesy bits, though understandable, pulled me out of the movie. And there were some people shouting out during the serious moments trying to be funny that just kept pissing me off.

You know, I think I know a way they could create a "DM super". Set it about a decade or so into the future of the Dark Side of Dimensions timeline, to excuse all the summoning types being available, maybe introducing another. Follow a group of low to moderate level duelists and leave the old cast as only mentioned, as their stories are over. Main plot deals with someone having grown obsessed with the Duel Links world and wants to bring it into reality, when they are offered a strange book by an individual, the Millennium Spellbook and the second major antagonist respectively. Second major revealed to be High Priest of a pantheon of Lovecraftian style gods, that Zorc was a part of, soon before defeat, and sacrifices themselves to open the gateway to shadow realm. Only affects a local area at first, and protags need to fight their way to the gate after being initially driven off. To keep the card games the producers want, the Shadow Realm's presence makes it so the cards they play are real, but the duel disks get stuck in duel mode and the anti-cheat mechanisms prevent them from being able to do whatever they want. Life points would be tied to their actual life, and their decks can't be reset, Tension would be built up through them needing to manage every life point and every card they have so they can actually manage to arrive at the final boss and be able to defeat it. Any jobbing against the final could be justified as the people simply having used everything up already and/or simply had too low of life points to fight effectively. Upon them winning against the Final Boss, if they want a happy ending out, it could be justified as the events being part of a massive shadow game, reviving the people who hit 0 life points and destroying the Millennium Spellbook.
