You're right about that, the anime had a nice conclusion and I don't see potential for bitchy fights in the threads (except shipper wars I guess). But even then, I rarely see people mention it outside of muh fujobait context which is a shame because it's a good superhero anime.

Kotetsu, Lunatic and SKY HIGH are the best.

Oh that is the funny part about that discussion, Keith really doesn't.
Nathan tries and fails to point this fact out to him but as far as Keith is concerned, it's a nice bar, people are friendly with him and the lemonade is "one of the best in the city."
Nothing else.

How do you guys feel about the dub?
I thought it was pretty well done and really fit the setting better than the original

The problem with Tiger and Bunny is that it really wrapped up quite neatly.

They got two through two great arcs, rather unobtrusively set the ball for a sequel and smoothed off the edges.

There isn't that much to discuss because it left no major strings to unravel or big holes to examine in the narrative. T+B discussions devolve into "Member when #EPISODE?" "Yea, that was cool."

I hate it. Fire Emblem best girl.

What bizarro world is this.
I still listen to those character songs to this day.

Sunrise and the long wait between the two only movies, plus the disillusion when the fans understood they were never going to get a S2... all that despair killed it. I know I kept on buying merch and dojins way longer after it ended, and they are still my most precious anime-related goods. But it was really painful to be that show's fan.
Curse Sunrise.

I guess it's time to watch The Rising and check out the specials and other extra content to fill the void in my heart.

It was the most popular show of the season it aired in, even more than Steins Gate. There were basically constant 400+ post threads. It had a shit ton of threads even after S1 because of the movies, but yeah, it's pretty much died down since then.

It just goes to show you how exceptional Eva is in that it gets lengthy threads almost every other day, even before the Rebuild movies came out.

Started good, went to complete shit in the second half. Even ignoring the massively ramped up fujoshi bait in the second half, the plot takes a massive fucking nosedive and Barnaby's character just shit the bed. That said, it's still worth watching since Kotetsu was a great main character at least.

I liked Kotetsu's side of the story in the second half and it was a wild ride. I don't think that the first half was much better because some episodes felt so dragged out (like the Blue Rose one) and Jake was an annoying villain.

The supporting hero is then the lead of the next CD with a new supporting hero for the side B and the cycle continues until the cast is done. Exceptions to this are vol.7 & 8.

Aside from the Evageeks crowd, which most poster here openly acknowledge as pure cancer, anons don't really care much about the religious fluff in the series. There is depth in the core hedgehog dilemma shit that fuels most of the character interaction though.
