It was a start about Machi being unlucky from the start. But the anime adaption overdid it. Everyone hated it.

It's such a shame. I adored the fuck out of this series when the first episode aired. I was thinking this is why I'm still watching anime. Fortunately Tanaka-kun saved me that season.

How does the manga compare to the show? I want to see a good end for Machi but seeing her break in manga form would be too much.
