All I've heard from the thread about Lethe is a few lines of dialogue where she bullies CQ. Meanwhile La Pucelle

La Pucelle's power is simple, effective, and was criminally underutilized before she got murdered by a MG that was way out of her depth, which gave rise to a ton of speculation on where her ability could've gone. Also I like it because it reminds me of motherfucking Sanger Zonvolt from Super Robot Wars.

Lethe's power, according to TL-kun, is some Touhou-tier manipulation of a concept with a little mindfuckery thrown in too, which means I'm going to be surprised if I see her get any acceptable mileage out of it in Queens before the author inevitably kills her due to having too big of a role in the story and being too god damn powerful.

Lethe's design might be the only thing I like better but Maruino had four years to make up a concept of "La Pucelle, but she got to evolve into Charizard". It's also kind of busy, I feel sorry for any fanartist that has to memorize all of those tails, gems, where her hair color changes, what that weird headpiece on the back of her head looks like, etc.

Also, let's not forget that Lethe's conception was was a response to La Pucelle's popularity so the author said "make another dragon girl".

Methinks they should stop making copycats and stick to more fun La Pucelle side stories.

Durability and Assertiveness make a lot more sense now that I think about it. Durability is referenced way more in the books, particularly in Limited and Jokers in regards to Pukin's and Heart Shufflins. TL-kun also translated an interview with Asari where he talked about the durability gap MGs (some MG can die from a mine explosion while others can walk it off).

Assertiveness instead of Confidence also explain many things. Like that argument about Pythie's 3/5 compared to Pfle 5/5 a few threads ago. Both seem to have full confidence in their keikaku, but Pfle is clearly more assertive in behaviour (Pechika described her as having a powerful voice, and she is always in charge of leading), while Pythie is shown to be softer, prefer to suggest rather than ordering (dealing with SW, Ripple, Pukin, Lazuline I). At least now everything clicks for me.

How did Fav hide the deaths from the Law of Magic? I just skimmed through the last couple of episodes and apparently, there were several tests where Cranberry just went wild and slaughtered everyone. How were any of the deaths successfully hidden? The only method I can think of is that they were simply all reported as failures and nobody bothered to investigate into this since this is apparently a normal thing or not all the candidates were reported to be participants in the tests (i.e. she simply under-reported the numbers).

Cranberry always left one survivor, or in one case two, but wiped their minds. The LoM would have no reason to check up on the girls who didn't pass the test, since regularly they're suppose to have their minds wiped and returned to normal life.

The LoM also seems to be pretty understaffed and there's at least a decent amount of these selection tests going on, so I don't think it's far fetched that they wouldn't have enough people to check on every test that goes on, and as such just believed Fav's bullshit reports. Especially since he was a Cyber Fairy, which were believed to be emotionless and impartial prior to the reveal that he was batshit insane.
