Yep. Eyes of Heaven is fucking garbage. The World Over Heaven has infinite time stop AND anything it punches has it's reality overwritten by DIO with whatever he wants it to become. Yet despite being LITERALLY invincible with this skillset he loses in the exact same way he does in Part 3, and Jotaro doesn't even need to change his tactics or anything. He just keeps DIO's wristband from an alternate dimension that Valentine stole and throws it at DIO to menger sponge his arm as a distraction like the magnet trick then SAME TYPE OF SUTANDO. It's honestly fucking awful.

Valentine has been switching between dimensions to find a way to escape infinite rotation, and eventually finds the arrow which allows him to turn D4C into its requiem stand.

I'd make it some sort of puzzle-based quicktime point-and-click gameplay rather than all-out-fighting, I think. One of JoJo's main points is that fights are overwhelmingly solved with brainpower and cunning over pure power, it'd be great to implement that.

As for a storyline, maybe you'd need to make up a new stand or something (or heavily modify Ticket To Ride so it drags different times and places together) as an excuse for the characters to meet. I like the idea of DIO Over Heaven, but implement him better and don't make Jotaro the center of attention - he shouldn't get any more limelight than any of the other JoJos. Don't make it just a retelling of 3, either, it should draw as much inspiration from other parts. Maybe feature some of the other villains as untrustworthy allies, I can't see characters like Kars or Valentine willingly bowing down to anyone.

If it has to have a main character, I'd put Jolyne in it - she's dedicated, driven strong, funny, charismatic etc and works well by herself as well as with others, whereas characters like Johnny need someone like Gyro to work best with, and characters like Josuke aren't as proactive.

And take Giorno's arrow away too, GER isn't acceptable as anything other than a win-condition.

You explicitly see how it works with Emporio, an ant, a bunch of random sea-life, and the news-reports of the shit happening around the globe.

MIH speeds the universe up, but the people and other living things in it stay the same and don't die of old age. Hence Emporio surviving and being sent to a new universe.

Because the people caught by MIH (literally everyone) have already experienced the natural (but sped up) death and rebirth of the universe, they subconsciously know their futures and are trapped by them. But they're still the same people and are still alive, as seen by Emporio and the guards and inmates at the jail being perfectly unharmed.

Because Emporio killed Pucci before he could complete a second reset and make the changes permanent, a paradox occurred where the universe basically rebooted itself again, but without Pucci in it. This meant that everything went back to normal - characters like Josuke, Okuyasu, Giorno etc are perfectly fine and were completely unaffected aside from being trapped by fate weirdness for like ten minutes before it went back to normal.

Preferably somehow involving Part 4 Jotaro.

I think you're heavily overestimating the effect on Jotaro and Josuke it'd have. Jotaro wouldn't have any reason to change who he was as a teenager due to Pucci not existing since they never met, so 17yo Jotaro who killed DIO would have had the same personality and the same adventure up till he found DIO's journal, which would no longer have the ominous stuff about Heaven in it, so he would've been more relaxed about raising his daughter.

Due to the repetitive nature of the universe, parts 4 and 5 would happen pretty much identically, the only part that couldn't happen the same would be 6 due to its main villain being completely retconned.

He had a much bigger role than any of the other characters and he fought for longer than any of the other characters. And while he did continue to investigate stand shit in general, you're grossly overestimating just how much he did. His trip to Morioh was also important to his Marine biology career (which he got a PHD for, which would have taken time away from his family as much as if not more than stand shit) as it was to deal with Kira and the other arrow crap. And all he did in part 5 was launch and then call off a brief investigation.

I find it kind of odd that you're trying to make it about whether I like Jotaro as a character, though, particularly given that I've never insulted his character once. All I'm saying is that his role in EOH is one of the biggest criticisms about it and he didn't need to and should never have been the main character. Yeah duh, he should have a prominent role, but so should literally all the JoJos (aside from obvious stuff like George or Jorge or whatever.)

First of all, those seven years were not "dominated" by Dio, they were on peaceful terms even if they secretly disliked each other.

And second, you seem to be mistaking how much a JoJo has suffered with how much of the Joestar burden they had to deal with. I said it once and I'll say it again: it's not just about suffering. It's about the responsability of dealing with the family's extensive history and likelyhood of being attacked by supernatural enemies, it's about dealing with DIO's legacy. Jotaro was the one who had to, not just kill him himself and beat his followers, but spent years dealing with Stand user bullshit, handling threats with the SWF, becoming a mentor figure in Part 4, etc. He's the one who refers to DIO as his personal nemesis. It's more than just suffering. Jonathan and Jolyne suffered more, but they died early, without having to constantly face problems associated with being a Joestar for decades. Jotaro lived longer, and fought longer. Please don't make me explain this again, it's a fairly easy concept to understand.

Him hogging all the spotlight was a problem with EOH, but to say he does not deserve a more prominent role, in the bigger picture, compared to other JoJos like Josuke or Joseph is simply denial.
Again, it's not about suffering, it's not about whether he was personally victimized more than the others, it's about how he had to single-handedly handle the brunt and responsabilities of the Joestar burden for the majority of his life.
