I just don't like how much the art has changed since I began reading. It's too swirly(?), as in there's so much movement and detail in every page that it's just hard for me to follow and enjoy. The point at which Guts received the Berserker armor is where Miura should have stayed, or at least that's my opinion.

Ever since Guts stopped ripping and tearing the light and dark tones have changed horrendously, so it's hard to enjoy.

They're only going to be on the Island a few days at most. I highly doubt the timeskip will be that severe. I bet there wont even be one.

BUT, Falconia seems just too good to be true right now and Guts seems to have lost his motivation to get revenge on griffith. Depending on what happens with Casca, a timeskip to a fallen world may be needed to setup the final confrontation.

I just bought a volume of a manga first time in life and if is totally worth it. Thinking of actually buying all berserk volumes one day. And I disagree about berserk not being good right now. The story makes sense and soon obviously some eclipse 2.0 is going to happen. The only thing that was off was the art but I think Miura did that on purpose

am I the only one who senses that the manga will soon go dark again? It is kinda obvious. The story is near its end (Casca is going to be fixed soon and griffith has achieved his dream) and the tone has been really light for a while now. Also, Guts has over 10 members in his party. I think that Miura has spent a lot of time, trying to make the reader feel safe, and get attached to the new characters. Right now is a perfect time for some shock factor.
