What does /a/ think of seven years hand drawn?

Fun

Pretty cooool, too bad they added in just a little bit too much cliche overdone story into it, because the fun parts are really, really fun, but the slower parts are really not.

Loved it and the soundtrack. Romance felt unnecessary, but it was a pretty small part of it.

Really enjoyed it. I really feel like it deserves more recognition in terms of the sheer effort taken to produce it, on top of the fact that it wasn't garbage (Duke Nukem). Sonoshee McLaren/10

This is not the Thunderbolt Fantasy thread.

Thought it was out of this world. One of the best animated movies I've ever seen. Voice acting was fucking tops, characters were all unique, music was fantastic.

Its the first thing I recommend to anyone who hasn't watched anything in years. Its not perfect, but is high quality with broad appeal.

I usually save this for after the person I'm recommending stuff to actually gets into anime, or at least shows a little interest. I would hate to see someone get hooked on anime because of this, only to wade through mountains of garbage for years like I did.

There was nothing wrong with the ending; what it lacked in punch was made up for with all the preceding. It probably could have been better, but it wasn't by any means shit.

JP's only problem is he's one of two milquetoast run of the mill humans in the universe's collaboration between deathrace 2000 and wacky races. I don't think it's fair to count him out just because he doesn't have a television show or a breakfast cereal.
