Megumin > Chris > YunYun > gap > Wiz > Aqua > huge gap > shit > Darkness
She's so boring and has literally one joke.
why do they keep making the MCs midgets? Kazuma is 165cm/5'5. That's not even manlet level that's just a fucking midget. Even if these isekai MC's are short homos the cutoff should be 5'7
165cm is not a midget, stop being rude and delete your post.
tfw I'm smaller than Kazuma.
Anon i'm sorry to inform you but 5'5 is midget territory. Lower than that is sub-human
That's horseshit. I've been to asian countries and the IRL average height is like 5'8 - 5'9. In America, as much as we say 5'9, the real average height is 5'10 - 6'0
>tfw to intelligent to use cm
Me gusta la Latina.
>everyone falling for manlet shitposting
Insecure axis cultists strike again.
Power duo, coming through to reveal the truth.
its faggots like you that actually think the average american penis is 5 inches long
>sitting in castle temporarily
>suddenly whole place erupts into an explosion
>ignore it for several seasons
>finally come out just to issue a warning
>some little girl trys to make a fool out of you
>try to leave
>a crazed knight throws herself at you
>plant a death curse on her just to shut her up and offer the cure if the heroes can reach the top of his castle
>they never shop
>they keep nuking the castle instead
Huh the ED is out on February 1st. That was quite fast.
>Girl is blonde.
Does Megumin ever stop being chuuni?
Does Aqua ever stop being arrogant and dumb?
Does Kazuma ever stop being a scumbag?
Why stop at one character when you can criticize them all?
Konosuba is a gateway anime of the worst kind. It's a bad series, a clusterfuck of story and characterization that isn't very well done by any aspect, but which attempts to compensate for its weaknesses by adding in excessive shipping faggotry and DARKNESS.
tfw you will never have this power
>tfw your onee-sama got you a bag of lobster when you were young and impressionable
Shows that she's desperately poor. Though that only really works for the first two, when she's stealing food. Last two she was fishing, which is normal.
I guess the embarrassing thing is that she had to fend for herself for food at a young age instead of relying on her parents.
>you will never bathe with this little firecracker
Life isn't fair.
There's always been a false equivalence between the two. Megumin is someone who would be lured into a shady situation with food (Kazuma bought her a meal) while Yun Yun would be lured into a shady situation for a friend.
a devil yet too pure
does wiz give a good suc?
They're poor because Megumin's dad is a fucking loser who keeps "following his dreams" instead of using his talent to do useful shit. And such behavior is encouraged by her village's ridiculous chuuni tradition.
No wonder the poor girl fell for Kazuma, he's the first down to earth guy she met.
Why is that the funniest joke in the series?
every time he does it I lose my shit honestly
Nice twist on that ancient pasta, take this (you).
Who knows maybe she'll grew into a scummy power abusing noble.
It's hinted that Wiz is buying his products. So he not only fuck with his daughters growth, he also fucked Vanir.
I thought that the hint meant that he missed a contract with Wiz. I think he wouldn't have such severe money problems if they actually established the contract. Megumin would probably act strangely too if she found her father's inventions in the store. She has a pretty bad poker face.
Is polygamy allowed in this world? I'd take a double order of semen daemons.
Why is it still translated as "Crimson Demon" in the anime? Crimson Magic Clan seems to be more fitting.
It got elaborated on the explosion spinoff. Megumin is also the one that teach several scamming technique to Axis cult.
Also Megumin is fucking cool in that volume.
>“Hi. I’m a passing arch wizard. You people stand aside. I’m going to have a good time.”
Kamen Riders is so cool.
Megumin's father probably spends say 50,000 eris on materials and makes stuff that is worth 30,000 eris which he then sells to Wiz for 55,000 eris because she's bad at business. He the reinvests almost all of it and spends a tiny amount on living costs.
>hating on yunyun
But she's so cute.
If that were true, she would have made friends in Axel and joined a party with her super powerful magic. She's just an annoying, clingy doof no matter how you look at her.
My assumption is that she was too busy power leveling so she could challenge Megumin since she had to spend points on intermediate magic instead of advance magic due to reasons in addition to other things. Plus perhaps even Yunyun can tell/heard members of the Axis church are fucking crazy.
>Kazuma refused to mate with this
Is he asexual?
The spinoff talks about how much time she spent searching for a party. She got rejected by the sane people and ended up attracting creepy old men that Megumin had to chase away.
>Is supposed to be an incredibly strong holy knight who's "solidly built"
>Pencilthin arms that would break if I sneezed at them too hard
>Weak, girly core
Where are my defined biceps, cut abs and thighs made for leglocking?
She tries, however she has zero social skills and most of her attempts end up backfiring. It's explained in the Vanir spinoff when both Vanir and Dust try to make Yunyun befriend Rin. Funnily enough, the adventurers in Axel regard Yunyun with a reverence any chuuni would die to receive.
I think a lot of artists are still afraid to draw muscular women because they're not traditionally attractive. You'd think that an entirely mediocre anime becoming popular because of backmuscles would prove that there's a market for this shit.
I know she tries. The point is that she has no social skills no matter if you judge her from chuu2 standards or normal ones. The fact that she was embarrassed by chuunis being chuuni despite being exposed to it every day of her life means that she has some sort of mental issue. Everyone else is able to get over it after being exposed to it enough.
>mfw Darkness gets the two best moments in both OPs
>OP 1, she jumps into the air from flying rock to flying rock to save Scumzuma, proving she is the one dependable member of the group
>OP 2, she comes up with, and initiates the explosive door catapult plan, proving she is clever (as long as it is related to masochism, I guess)
>That moment in OP one
That moment really had a lot of charm to it and I wish Darkness behaved like that more in canon. She looked so cool and reliable there, and chivalrous female knights are my fetish.
Understandably the last two episodes of the anime gave me a raging chivalry boner.
In OP2 she's a lot more silly and retarded like in canon, but she's still incredibly cute. I need a WebM of her wiggling around before causing the explosion.
I want to rest my head on her thighs and make her my wife.
That's only because Megumin was in the spotlight in episode 2.
It would easy be AOTY if they just removed Aqua and Darkness and made the Kazuma/Megumin duo the only main characters.
Nah, Aqua is important for the humor. Darkness is pretty underwhelming in most of the LN but she's useful for the plot. Without her, the party could never even approach high society because of how scummy they are. It's also fun to see her trying to control Megumin's berserking and Aqua's retardation. It's too bad we're not getting volume 6 stuff right now because there's a lot of braid tugging.
Rich isn't nobility, and the rest of the party's crassness is bad for interacting with nobles. Kazuma would have basically been run through by the white suit lady (Claire I think) if Darkness hadn't intervened in volume 6.
>Is supposed to be an incredibly strong holy knight who's "solidly built"
>Pencilthin arms that would break if I sneezed at them too hard
>Weak, girly core
Doesn't their stats increase by the press of a button on that card, rather than actual training?
Wizards supposed to have high int, yet Megumin doesn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed either.
Megumin is smart, but she was raised chuuni. It's kind of like that smart dude you know who thinks the world is only 6000 years old because his parents beat it into him for 20 years. She figures out stuff quickly but has the handicap of being a chuuni and not having seen much of the outside world.
Darkness' training definitely builds muscle and it's kind of a point of shame for her later. She wants to be considered a dainty, pretty girl and gets butthurt whenever someone points out how heavy or defined her muscles are.
tldr physical bodies seem to somewhat reflect stats. maybe.
Why mate with STD infested orc's used toy, when you can have pure explosive loving literal semen demon?
Who's the best Konosuba and why is it Yunyun?
>Who's the best Konosuba
>and why is it Yunyun?
It's not. Yunyun is very cute though. She's just (from what we've seen from her up to this point) a bit plain. Her entire gimmick is being the only normal person in a clan of Chuuni's.
This getting an anime?
>Sisti attends a magical academy to hone her skills in the magical arts, and hopes to solve the mystery of the enigmatic Sky Castle. After the retirement of her favorite teacher, the replacement, Glen, turns out to be a tardy, lazy, seemingly incompetent bastard of an instructor. How was it that Glen was hand-picked by the best magician in the academy!?
Says there april.
How do you guys like Aqua + Shimakaze - fun?
That series is serious, this one is comedy. Comedy doesn't really need nice art, serious fantasy does.
Good for Mishima Kurone though, at least the MC in that series is white haired. Hope she get more opportunity to draw Eris/Chris.
Sisti a cute. Crossover where the white cat is eaten by Komekko when?
You forgot milking and tit slapping.
Man I wish the manga wasn't so behind, I like it a lot more than the anime. It's more faithful to the LN and doesn't look like shit. The original bits are great too.
Unrelated, Wiz and Aqua's sexual tension is amazing.
Please anon, her sword's hilt is more intimate with her vagina than her underwear.
>nobles rape dungeon
She's in ainz's happy farm?
Not the anon you were arguing with, nor other countries but this is from the point of a brit living in Mexico. Even though a monority in mexico there are white mexicans.
I can't decide what it means that they shoved Komekko into episode 2.
Obviously they know where the money is, and it makes sense that they would try to fit all of the popular characters in, especially if this is the last season.
But then, why adapt volume 3 at all? The script writer doesn't seem to mind veering away from the LN. Yunyun was already introduced, and Vanir's introduction is fucked from the get-go because they skipped the dungeon.
If anything, the flashback bit seemed like a clever way of summarizing keys parts of the Megumin spin-off that set up Chuuni Village. But if you aren't planning to visit Chuuni Village, what's the point?
Only relevance the dungeon has is its an excuse to force Kazuma and Aqua to go there again. Its pretty simple to come with another excuse to force them to go to the dungeon. The first dungeon trip isnt even relevant to the story at all. Its the most sidestory thing in the whole series.
It's the rare occasion when Aqua acts like a real goddess though
I havent read it either but from what ive been told it reaches all the way to them killing the demon lord. In the WN its pretty much nobody wins the Kazuma bowl with Eris and Megumin being the closest ones to win it.
Apparently he dies at the end to the point that theres no corpse so Aqua cant bring him back. Eris gives him a wish as a reward for defeating the demon lord, since hes dead the wish defaults to where he wants to be resurected basically. He is filthy rich in fantasy australia and might get laid with one of the girls so he decides not to go back to his own world. Of course after he gives his wish Eris tells him theres actually multiple demons lords out there in the world.
They better not adapt this shit for LN or anime. I am just wondering, though. Whats even the difference between the WN and LN then? Is the LN simply more fleshed out or why do the volumes take so long to release if the WN already provided the general route the story will be heading into.
>Eris tells him theres actually multiple demons lords out there in the world
30 volumes confirmed
>they tried to get it on during the arc where Darkness is supposed to marry the fat landlord
>basically making the landlord wear a green hat before marriage
>he fumbles and tries to compliment her
>Cue angry screaming
>tfw you will never rely on god-given powers of eugenics to breed a race of qt crimson semen demon daugterus
Kill all male crimson demons. Female qts only.
...Wait, is crimson magic gene a regressive gene or dominant? How much incest is happening here within the clan?
She sure is cool and reliable when she goes full Dustiness, like in ep1.
the most retard thing about them is that they are ALL crazy op super wizards (meguming explosion fetish is the only exception) and so can make big easy money by becoming adventures and shit
but all stay in the village doing shit
From the preview it does seem that next episode will be Keele's dungeon. Showing Aqua's sympathetic side would also makes less people bitch about how prominent she is in latter episodes, especially since last episode is probably the last Megumin-centric episode this season (unless they changes things up again and show Cecily latter). Who knows, maybe next episode would convert a lot of people to the Axis cult.
Maybe Vol. 5 will be a movie?
Yunyun is regarded really highly in Axel.
The problem is, Crimson Demons don't go to Axel. They go to like the capital or other places, not the newbie town.
Yunyun tries to make friends by being saving parties and hoping they ask her to join them. The problem is that people assume that if she wanted a party she'd be in a more advanced town. So they don't invite her, because they all conclude that the reason she goes around saving people is that she wants to protect as many people as possible, and holding her to one party wouldn't make her happy.
I'm willing to bet that Cecily shows up this season. If they're trying to fit stuff from the spin-offs into the show, as they did with the flashbacks, there's no reason not to introduce her. She's a great character.
Taking her pads just wasn't enough.
>It ends with Aqua giving Kazuma a thumbs up and vice-versa
>It's kind of a charming moment because it shows that despite being a bunch of horrible people, the entire group has eachother's backs
>It feels like a 'deserved' thumbs up
>"Sticking your thumbs up worked last time, now let's do it three times"
I like OP 2, I really do, but this irks me. It's not annoying enough to send me into an autistic frothing rage, but just enough to be noticable.
This op is kind of a stab at anime opening cliches
I always thought "why and where do they run all the time in 90% of anime openings"
And here we see them run aimlessly, and then get tired. I chuckled at that
The thumbs up is also intentionally just as cheesy.
>I always thought "why and where do they run all the time in 90% of anime openings"
>And here we see them run aimlessly, and then get tired. I chuckled at that
True, that's a great moment.
Speak for yourself you filthy peasant.
There's only one goddess that /a/ worship.
You're right, but it's not muh doka.
I noticed that too. It kind of smelled like comedy via committee at first.
I think they might just be blissfully unaware and think more=better though. It works well enough in a cheesy way, and I'm a fan of cheesy.
But thumbs up are kakkoi.
You failed the chuuni test, sorry but you can't marry Megumin/Yunyun now.
S-stop it. I'm still growing. Men grow until their 30s, r-right?
If Lain isn't a trap how can she be /g/'s goddess?
Checkmate godless heathens.
Lain is simply the goddess of those who treasure the Wired.
>sorry but you can't marry Megumin/Yunyun now.
That's fine, I already belong to our Goddess.
>For trapdom is the way of lain worship as told by RMS.
Everyone knows that sucking the dicks of traps is the way to heaven.
My sins are forgiven through copious spending of my money for Her cause.
Can confirm that the nendo has no panties
So if you met a trap exactly like Megumin except for a dick you wouldn't want her to explode inside your mouth?
What's the appeal of megumin?
failed 3dp first love perfected into 2d with hopes of second chance to men the broken heart?
Why does Megumin wear a collar? Is she someone's pet?
She is considered weird by Crimson Tribe standards so she never developed social skills.
After moving to Axel, her lack of social skills creates the misconception that she's actually a cool loner so out of respect for her the adventurers leave her alone.
We just don't know for sure. Darkness is a virgin and we know that there are certain things she detests even in her masochist fantasies, like being called by her real name and not being praised when she genuinely wants it after working hard.
Cecily would definitely play with Megumin a little if she had the chance
I shall not sexualize Her image.
Then again, buying the dakimakura would contribute towards The cause, which would then absolve me of my sins. How convenient.
Buy it and contribute towards Her glorious cause and you too shall bathe in divine knowledge.
Aqua > Wiz > Chris > Darkness > Yunyun> gap > Megumin and the rest of the crimson shit subhumans
At least Darkness' one joke can be funny unlike a certain autistic flat mage.
Think of it this way: most of the pain she enjoys doesn't involve permanent loss or effects. Wounds heal, armour can usually be repaired (never mind that it's just equipment), you can get over insults (especially if they're not all that true) and being looked at lewdly.
Well that plus the bath scene from the last season which she didn't seem that resistant to.
Needs a but more soft.
Is this an acceptable compromise?
Not the one you post-2010 faggots try to push.
What about monkeymode
with the oppai intact, of course
That's literally the point. She's supposed to be more built than a brick house. Her armor is purely cosmetic at this point when she dumped everything into END and STR
I want a lap pillow from any of the konosuba girls.
Most likely the saggy tits.
They've been like comrades ever since dropping in that world with no money and sleeping in the stables.
Aqua's relationship with him doesn't change. At some point Darkness starts wanting his dick, but that's before he does a cool guy thing for her. The scene where Kazuma seduces Megumin is volume 5 and this season can only really cover volumes 3 and 4.
Her relationship is honestly the same right now as when the series started.
Confession, though they're not quite dating, but they are mutually aware of each other's love and qualities.
Sees Kazuma as literally everything she wants in a man now, both in noble and perverted qualities. Kazuma's opinion doesn't seem to have shifted much about her though.
They share a secret now and Kazuma has openly revealed his feelings towards her.
Pretty much fully in love with Kazuma and intent on marrying him. Kazuma has her in full little sister territory right now though.
May turn into a girl eventually.
While they're around occasionally, development with girls like Yunyun and Wiz has stopped as he simply doesn't spend much time around them or at least the novels don't depict their interactions with him much anymore. The spinoff novels being spinoffs keep main characters like Kazuma away to keep the focus on the spinoff protagonists. Due to that, a sort of Vanir cliche has been formed with Vanir, Wiz, Yunyun, and Luna.
Vanir however being an eccentric demon mask that purely takes pleasure in other people's misery isn't a romantic threat. There's also Dust, but he already has a confirmed love interest from his own party.
As an Isekai that takes the shit out of other Isekais, one ponders how the ending of Konosuba will be handled. Will there be any romantic resolution at all or will it be a "and their adventures continued" non-ending.
Shut your mouth BAKA goddess.
>you will never be bullied by a little girl
No need to be scared as long as you know the board rules/culture and you know you're absolutely right in case a retarded mod drops by /a/ to meet his ban quota.
pretty sure it's 7 because Dust thinks Rin is getting Darknessed.
>Confession, though they're not quite dating, but they are mutually aware of each other's love and qualities.
Which isnt entirely true. Scumzuma never really confessed, he just said that he loved her because it felt like the right thing to say in that moment. In the most recent volume he didnt really seem to give much of a shit about her being jealous, either. In fact, he rather teased her about it. And when that shifter guy came into his room the only thoughts he had were sexual, like talking about her tits. There is no actual proof that he loves her, let alone has any strong feelings towards her. Which is pretty sad to be honest.
>In the most recent volume he didnt really seem to give much of a shit about her being jealous
When Megumin directly said that she was jealous he was left completely speechless.
Yeah but it wasnt implied that he was ashamed of himself or something at all. He simply didnt have a witty rebuttal. The scene also ended with Aqua and Darqnezz entering from the kitchen so yeah. I dont know, I feel like Volume 10 put an end to that relationships future. It was implied multiple times that Kazuma doesnt really seem to care about anything that isnt related to fucking her.
Apart from the fact that nothing actually implies that. Its about getting his dick wet. Unless you can show me some examples that legitimately imply that he has feeling for her
that go beyond friendship and sexual attraction.
