Last episode's plot and humor really fell flat in my opinion. How bad the animation was just added insult to injury. Episode 2 was marginally better.

Same thing happened with the first two episodes of the first season. Episode 1 was all right, a bit dodgy in places. Episode 2 was glorious.

As much as I love Darkness, I have to agree that her best moments are her most out of character ones (her jumping up to save Kazuma in the OP, her defensiveness of Kazuma against Ryouji, all of episode 9, all of episode 10)
