It was always "shonen"

Ever since the beginning there were usually conflicts that involved into trouble and fighting, it just resulted in Tsukune taking off the Rosario and Inner Moka OHKOing the threat.

Just after awhile Tsukune was actually able to start fighting instead of having the girls save him all the time.

Also stop trying to use shonen as a term for fighting manga. Harem romcoms can be shonen as well.
