He has several writers (primarily Takahashi Aoshima) and a sound director (Yasunori Ebina) that he always works with. Together, they're a comedy anime dream team.

Truly a great director for comedy shows. Whenever I'm seeing him on the staff list I'm always looking forward to his show since I know that I'm at very least isn't going to be disappointed. Minami-ke still stays as my most favorite show made by him.
