So? How does this change the fact that Rory´s presence trivializes the challenges the MCs go through? Not only in terms of combat, but in diplomacy. Every time it is revealed Rory is with the MCs, everyone shit their pants and kneel before them.

If at least their apostle was an unpopular one, or one that was hardly known... but nope.

Both. The problem is that the writer, the mangaka and the anime director don´t seem to care about the more intricate and interesting aspects of the war. The Battle of Alnus is just artillery spam. There is more detail in fucking Call of Duty.

It's the smartest way to do it, no half decent commander would have done otherwise. There's a reason artillery is the goddess of the battlefield, and even more reason to just mass artillery when your enemy is a brainless mob with zero cover

Also, I would have much loved to see more politics and the sheer difference between military capabilities than another harem adventure. Ah well.

The author is former JSDF and its what you think it is. Still some cute girls in it.

Dropped around chapter 48, it just didn't click well with me. The setting and (some of) the characters are interesting, but the story is a total bore. I couldn't get invested into it at all.

details like the roman army mages are wiped out by the swat snipers at the 7 days seige in the battle of double gates during the initial invasion

the CIA failed to kidnap the three because they hired "army veterans" who are actually just veterans from Afghanistan who just saw 1 tour of duty, because the CIA cant afford to get other CIA operatives they got their hands full looking for the terrorist leader in Afghanistan, only 1 of the group is a real operator operating operationally
