While objectively Berserk is better than Claymore in almost all aspects (art, caracterization, overall plot, etc.) I'll always have a place in my heart for Claymore. The monster design is one of the best ever, the fights are cool. Helps that Claymore actually managed to finish.

Claymore anime managed to be even worse than Berserk ones.

Claymore basically lost its way after Pieta. From the massive infodump about the war on the Mainland I assume he had further ideas for the series, but he was struggling to actually figure out how to write his way forward thanks to how high he already ratched the shounen powerlevels with Awakening.
