Idol Jihen has been announced since at least 2014 but it only released its singles and game recently, a couple of months before the anime. Meanwhile Bang Dream released its first single almost a year ago and will only release its game after the anime. Might just be a case of bad production management on the former's part.

Yeah this, and the fact that MC basically gets dragged around by others, instead of being like Honoka or Chika who were the ones who moved the plot forward since episode 1.

This is my favorite way to describe this series. I also enjoyed Carebears back in the 80's, so I'm completely okay with this.
