I mean Teruhashi is looking for more than friendship, which Saiki is trying to avoid. There's inevitably going to be a lot of conflict between the two. There have been some serious/touching moments, but the status quo is still about the same. I'd say Teruhashi's feelings has gotten a little bit stronger.

Friendship development is mostly relegated to Kaidou and Nendou. From what I have seen, he's kind of gave up on trying to get rid of them. He is shown to hang out with them on several occasions and usually protects them from harm.
