I would have liked more episodes to flash out the characters more, but I think overall Yurikuma did well with the little time it had. Better than Penguindrum at least, that starts out slow and rushes through everything in the second half, to the point I believe it was originally intented 3 cours. YKA doesn't waste time and has a major flashback/Nanami episode as soon as ep 4.
