Short hair loli bat > long hair loli > teen > oppai
That seems somewhat counter intuitive
>The moment when 100% perfection was ruined beyond repair.

An Idealist who was Betrayed by the World
nah, shes literally too perfect for her world/her own good. people are threatened and off put by her intelligence and kindness to the point of being scared of her. arararargi couldnt handle a relationship with her because of how selfless her interest in him seemed to be; the world assumed she was trying to dominate it because of how much she was getting done by herself and for no reason other than everyone's happiness
Hanekawa isn't childhood friend, they started talking just a few months before senjougahara. Araragi was already almost adult at that point.
And Nisio show his love by bullying anyway, like with the actual childhood friend.
her and gahara have the best relationship.
I hope Euler will go to the gym or something to get back at her now that she has enough money for more than cheap food.
I know that a good third of the series was spent chronicling how Araragi could've handled certain things better
but at this point it seriously seems like things get fucked up just as much when he doesn't do anything as it does when he does get involved
I don't remember ararararararagi being this much of an ikemen. Is it vampire magic?
I was (even more) pissed since I saw kizu 2 that they didnt end up together but now I think she got lucky. Her staying in town and having kids would not be the best ending. Her moving on to literally change the world is a lot more interesting
It also seems that people dont realize there is now plenty of set up potential for her to be in a situation where she has no one to call but RRRG and he has to go save her - he promised he would always be there. He's going to have to go on a sneaking mission or go vampire again and kick some ass
I don't know how Nisio does it but he makes me want to pair every girl up with the MC except for the actual main girl of the series. Sodachi's hatred-turned-unstable-friendship with rrragi is weirdly cute.
What the fucking hell is Commie doing? It's only an hour long and it's taking them a month to sub it. I swear to god, if the translator is still in vacation, I will murder the nearest crab I can find.
Because the winner is the normal girl with some problems, while everyone else goes from quirky to crazy, which would provide a more interesting and eccentric romance scenario.
This. A true batfag appreciates her equally in any form because he loves her.
Math went into Bro-tier in just 1 volume.
>tfw a slavshit
>if that one theatre in the country wanted to air animu it would be stones for heresy and paedophilia

objective and empirical rankings
I'm glad Kanbaru didn't end up with Crab.
If Bake is any indication, the Senjougahara she fell in love with was a fake persona she created in middle school to cover for her actual self.
Kanbaru honestly came out the most sane from how Musubi looks. She got a reasonable job which came from actually attempting to better oneself from their past experiences and the experiences of others while still keeping true to herself.
People like Cat who became a criminal or Crab who basically couldn't keep her shit sorted seem to be having much rougher times in their life.
Tooe was right, Kanbaru is destined for a simple life.
Losing the devil's arm really was the best thing for her.
She was going to lose it in a few years regardless but Numachi coming along and speeding up the process both in a literal sense and a figurative sense to help Kanbaru overcome her huge sense of guilt and understand that she is strong enough to help people with her own strength.
Well yeah. Senjougahara went against her own philosophy and stopped being someone special for Koyomi and Kanbaru.
Kanbaru meeting Numachi and wanting to kiss her is proof enough that she was moved on from Senjougahara.
It benefits Kanbaru in the long run if she doesn't hang out with Senjougahara too much. Much like how Kaiki talks about "Love making people stronger/weaker" we can safely put Kanbaru and Senjougahara's relationship on the "weaker" side.
She is a lot closer to Araragi than she is to Senjougahara well before Hana anyway to be fair.
Senjougahara made Araragi spend time with Kanbaru back in Nadeko Snake with the intention of "testing" him, she was hoping that Araragi would push Kanbaru away and spend more time with her.
At the time, Araragi thought that Kanbaru only agreed because he was the closest she could get to Senjougahara, though in the same arc Kanbaru clears up that this wasn't the case. Kanbaru pretty much just needed a friend to talk to about her weird problems and, after having stalked him in the previous arc and seeing how he managed to help Senjougahara, she thought that Araragi could fill that role. Which is what happened and Kanbaru & Araragi become close friends like she wanted.
> Senjougahara made Araragi spend time with Kanbaru back in Nadeko Snake with the intention of "testing" him, she was hoping that Araragi would push Kanbaru away and spend more time with her.
Is it really what you believe or just pretending?
That's what happened. Pretty sure atleast that much was still clear in the anime version, as butchered as Nadeko Snake's adaption was.
Senjougahara was fine with it in the end, it just wasn't what she originally intended to happen.
It's just a bunch of individual seasons with different names. Follow the release order like you would everything else.
Only possible outlier is maybe watching Hanamonogatari before the Nadeko Medusa arc in Second Season because that's how it was released in the LNs, though you don't have to do that (most people don't) and many will argue that the order Shaft did it in was better anyway.
where are the kizu 2 subs?
Pretty sure she works under Gaen now as of Nadekomono's ending alongside doing the manga thing (not sure if Koyomi knows about that though). Might get an arc with Koyomi in the upcoming LNs.
She's a pro mangaka with the power to make her drawings become real
And Nadeko Draw had a scene that made it clear she already had a good attitude for moving on from how she felt about Araragi
Don't be jealous, I like you too, Ougi.
In fact, I like every Monogatari girl.
Except Cat. Cat a shit.
>tfw you like all the girls and don't have to get into waifu arguments
You're right. One of them is shit and the other one is not.
I like all of them, except for one.
I like all of them too but I love some more than others.
>set 5 years later
>two of the four art pieces were on visually unchanging girls
I like Spooky and Bat as much as the next guy and all but man this was a waste. Pics of the four new chicks would've been cool.
Shinobu could have been illustrated differently: she was wearing warm clothing in the story itself
(likewise, Hanekawa was wearing baggy pajamas borrowed from Karen, not a nightdress)
I think it was mentioned that she stayed the night? The summary sorta glosses over it all really (I find it hard to believe that she'd make no comment on Koyomi and Karen living together)
No. She napped in Karen's bed (or pretended to while actually searching Araragi's room for her stuff) before Araragi came home, had dinner, did the washing up with Araragi, then left an hour after that.
I've finally reached the point where I can't enjoy this because the characters are too OOC.
For me it's worse that the dialogue is pants-on-head retarded than OOC. I have to look at the Jap versions to fap.
I'm not expecting literature out of my parody porn but it's so comically terrible it's off-putting
She is worst of the 3 lolis. How in the fuck is she best girl? Crab is by far the best probably why she won.
Aside from maybe Karen, everyone who hasn't moved on with their lives is fumbling about all over the place just to stay on Koyomi's dick.
Fuck it, Koyomi's the only one who actually won. He's a chill supernatural cop surrounded by multiple cuties, human and supernatural, at work and at home.
She won therefore she is best. Also she is beautiful, smart, loyal, expressive and self aware
Crab is also a successful businesswoman who makes more money than her bf. She could drop his ass and get any guy in the world if she so desired but she would never do that because she is loyal unlike Koyomi
Before the new novels introduce new worst girls can we all agree on the Real worst girl which obviously is
>Crab is also a successful businesswoman who makes more money than her bf.
Koyomi's never shown any interest in money, he's living the way he wants to.
>She could drop his ass and get any guy in the world if she so desired but she would never do that because she is loyal unlike Koyomi
She could. but doesn't and crawls back to town just to stay on his dick. If she wasn't there then Karen or an undying loli would be on there instead.
Like I said man, Koyomi's the winner here.
the only reason why araragi's even with crab other than being forced into it at first is because he thinks he's so shit and not deserving of an actual magnificent and perfect person like cat
Not even a Catfag but the entire thing was just another example of this series' overarching plot being sorta contrived to be honest
>Araragi wants to fuck her
>and also doesn't want her to leave his side
>and also wants to be able to protect her
>and is deeply wary of what she thinks of him
>and just constantly thinks about her in general, more than any other individual girl judging by his internal monologues throughout the series
>lol it's just lust though
Any other person would call this combination of things love. Gahara's lucky that her boyfriend is a colossal dumbass to be honest.
So I just started watching Bake and I have to say, Nadeko's story is easily the worst of what I've seen so far.
>Generic middle-schooler with a onee-chan complex
>Rejects a guy, he and his crush send snakes at her
>Like half of the episode is her in a school swimsuit, writhing in pain erotically
>Ararararararagi pulls one of them off, it goes to bite the guy now
>"Oh man too bad for that guy"
>ALTAIR DENEB VEGA
Seriously, it just seems like a big stinker compared to the other stories, especially since one of the things I liked so much was that the girls didn't just revolve around Durararagi, but had their own hopes and dreams and fears and personalities that were only supplemented by him.
>Crab was torn between removing the weight of her mother's actions and the good times she had with her
>Snail was sorta a victim of circumstance, but sorta fit into the whole Mother's Day motif going on
>Monkey was originally acting on her own hatred and jealousy, only to let go when it was clear Crab only liked her as a friend
>Cat's normal appearance just a facade for an emotionally warped girl, faced with abusive parents and a society which forces her to act perfect
>lol Snek wants to fuck Rararagi and she's such a cinnamon roll that her rejection of a guy almost kills her
Am I missing something, or did Nisio drop the ball?
No she didn't say that. She said that if cat was with Araragi before her she would have tried to steal him from her. She would have succeeded imo.
>She said that if cat was with Araragi before her she would have tried to steal him from her.
She was already acting under that assumption at the beginning of the series, everyone thought that he & Hanekawa were dating already.
A few smaller scenes here and there but mainly just a lot of dialogue. I'm saying that it negatively impacted Kanbaru because it sorta mis-portrayed Araragi & Kanbaru's relationship as a one-sided thing on Kanbaru's part spearheaded by Gahara, when in the LN version it pretty quickly turned into a genuine friendship on both sides.
In the end the best girl won and nobody can change the fact about it. Cat is definitely a good character and girl though nobody can deny it but people need to move on and accept it.
> but people need to move on and accept it
I'm not even going near this dumb waifuwar shit anon, I was just saying that Gahara was being sly from the beginning. Not hating on her, that behavior is exactly why she "won" in the first place and Nisio makes that very blunt.
Bee doesn't like Crab dumbass. If anything it would be birb and bee.
>Bee doesn't like Crab dumbass.
No, people misinterpret that all the time. Both sisters have boners for Cat on a general level, Bird thinks that Crab's fine for Araragi and Bee doesn't have a noted opinion on her but doesn't like the idea of her brother being taken away from her.
You mean Owari 1? She is not relevant until the end of final season, then
she will get more and more suffering but she will end up sort of alright in the end regardless
>He only lusts for her
Nope. After that, we get that scene where he states "i only feel lust for the cat girl in her underwear" but the anime cuts out the fact that hes choking back tears while saying it.
but she developed, she's a good girl now
of course! i'll always support my waifu!
Bee's a cop too, though in a different department. Birb's overseas and their parents were relocated downtown so they live together now. I'm sure they talk about dentistry all the time.
they don't likt each other. Crab made it pretty clear that she vert annoyed with Bat, but she can't do shit about it. The moment she tries to seperate RRRG and Shinobu is the moment she loses.
Crabfags better hope she doesn't try .
So someone summarized a case 'ragi looked into where the backs of people's clothes were getting slashed on the way home. He concluded that people were only noticing when they went home because of mirrors along the route giving them a look and the clothes were actually getting slashed by someone invading lockers during gym class. How the fuck does nobody notice that their clothes were slashed up when putting them on? How the fuck does nobody have a friend point out that their uniform is slashed up? Is this a case of omitted details in the summary, or did Nisio just not think his mystery the whole way through?
>get arrested and interrogated by bee
>go to an american casino and watch birds dance
>go to autograph sessions of snake-sensei
>schedule a business reunion with crab
>get treatment for sports related injuries from monkey
>get social assistance from math
>listen to globalist propaganda from cat
>pray to snail
This is some new level delusion.
>I actually do like Crab, but
Crab can do nothing to ever seperate Araragi and Bat and believe me she wants Shinobu gone. The only reason why she doesn't ever mention anything about it, is because she can do nothing about it.
If Crab were to ever try and bring up the topic and try to seperate them, Araragi would sooner breakup with her then let leave Bat. Just as Owari confirmed they don't want to leave the other. My point is:
>Bat will always be the true winner and best gril.
The breakups are already an indication.
>inb4 its to be realistic and show how strong their relationship is
I believe the fact that Crab needed Math's help to get them back together shows that while Araragi's pretty dense and stupid, he can still reject Crab if things are pretty bad.
Could someone summarise Snake's character? Why she is the crazy way she is. I feel like she got the least explanation from the series itself (I haven't read any of the novels set from her POV).
Anyone else think the introduction of Oshino retroactively ruined the entire series?
Nah there's quite a few who dislike monkey for being a dyke.
>doll seems to have people who dislike her verbal tic/"blank" character
>bird has people mocking her for being dumb and bossy at times
>gaen has people who hate her for being smug and kinda of a bitch
>karen has people who dont like genki and being hot headed
>numachi for having long monologues
Really, I think the only girl that barely has any hate is snail, and maybe Kagenui.
Maybe. She is also more on the bitch side of the bitch-bro spectrum as well, and some people really heavily prefer nice characters (like all tsundere haters even though hitagi isn't one).
One factor but mostly this >>152255307
Remember that Snake was constantly being hated and thrown shit for years even though she never ended up with Araragi.
That is, until we got the latest novel where we learned she had grown up from it and is no longer that selfish. Now look at the threads, barely anyone is attacking the Snakefags anymore.
If Crab had been understanding in letting Math stay in the house, or if the break ups never happened, I wouldn't hate her as much. Before this, I just considered her much more mediocre than the others but otherwise was alright.
As a mathfag I can understand why she'd be highly bothered about the boyfriend hiding that he was living with an attractive girl while she was in another country, and it was math that voluntarily made sacrifices to fix it.
The problem is that her normal girl reaction contrasts with most other characters that are typically much more understanding or easygoing than said normal girls.
>"? Why? Will she not be pleased? That simple woman."
>"Simple woman you say……"
>Is it my imagination?
>Or do I feel hostility?
I can't believe I missed this the first time I read this, seems like Bat and Crab really do dislike each other.
As Araragi's girlfriend, it's obvious why Crab dislikes Bat, but even she knows there is no way for her to seperate the two. Must be frustrating as a girlfriend (excluding his family) that you won't be the only girl in your boyfriends life.
In Bats'case, she tolerates Crab's presence simply because Araragi cares about her. Araragi's happiness is more important to her then her own. The only thing Shinobu wants (for now) is to stay together with him. But even for her, Crab's presence in araragi life must be just as frustrating.
>As for the main factor for why that holiday was something I could only remember bitterly, full of regrets ―― even though it was that hellish.
>Yet ―― memories of having fun too.
>Were also firmly included in there, that was why.
>Misfortune will never reverse into fortune.
>However, aside along misfortune ―― fortune was there as well.
>Not as two sides of the same coin, but as different things.
>"What makes you think I would!? Why are you enticing me like a middle school girl in her 3rd year!?"
>Shinobu widened her eyes.
>Her golden eyes.
>"What. You were the one who was enticing me before."
>"That was the exemplar of a joke! If we did that kind of thing, that miss tsundere or one of them would take my life when they find out, you know!? You might have forgotten, but right now, I am basically just a little girl you know!?"
>"No but, you can win against Black Hanekawa, right?"
>"That is because the opponent is an abnormality."
>It was hard to grasp the power balance in those matters.
>So she was weaker than a human but stronger than an abnormality?
>That's like rock-paper-scissors.
>But I guess the same happens among fellow humans too.
>"I see. So we won't kiss."
>If we do, it will be in 100 years in the future, said Shinobu.
>How patience requiring.
>That's an amazing seduction from a girl.
>"I don't really get what your principle is either…… do you refuse because feelings are involved? In that case, that now wasn't in the erotic meaning, but in the Americanized meaning."
>"Not like I would know."
they skipped so many scenes
There is no mathbu, so not yet. Maybe next year.
That's the next book, which is the 7th volume that was not adapted yet.
As she says that, Shinobu, who already has me in her arms, wraps her legs around me, too. She’s now sitting cross-legged with my body at the center, awfully unrefined posture for an adult to assume—or so you would think, but when it’s Shinobu doing it, it turns into a pretty manly and cool pose. No fair. I’m positive I never looked this stylish when I held Shinobu.
I need this animated
Meant for him.
Owari 3 - Zokuowari - Oroka - Waza - Nade - Musubi - Shinobu are the books released and announced but not adapted yet, after zoku it's not clear how they will be adapted if at all.
>some recent spoilers were talking about her doing stuff that sounded bad.
Anti-crabfags got BTFO by the real spoilers of course, but it still doesn't change the fact that crabfags were going to ridiculous lengths to try and justify crab threatening math and suicide and saying it was "in-character" when in fact it wasnt.
Rude how could you forget how cute and adorable she was anon. Nadeko would be sad that you forgot how she was! Watching her lose her shit in Medusa arc was one of her best moments
The problem is that Monogatari is a character focused novel. They'll be skipping the stories of those popular characters that has been selling the BDs for a new setting with new characters that might not sell as well to anime fans, and then it might be harder to just go back.
The new stuff will still have lots of old characters to help it sell. It's not pulling a UQ Holder. At the very least it doesn't look like they'll be able to skip Shinobu's backstory.
Even if you remove the whole suicide threat, it was still horrible that she caused Math to leave the only place she had to call home, and her lifelong dream of living with the Araragis. People who were mad at Crab for the fake spoilers still have reason to be mad at her for the real spoilers.
It won't have any focus on them and have a type of setting that is different from what has been selling monogatari, and if it's musubi there will be basicaly brief epilogues lacking part of the development towards it. And if there is any significant sales drop, it will be hard to recover even if they decide to do the rest of off-season later.
And if they choose some stories to adapt and skip the rest arbitrarily it can cost some good will of the fans of the skipped girl's arc. I know I'd be very bothered if it was one of my favorites that was skipped.
Eh, I'm more annoyed that she's the sort of person to be in an on-again off-again relationship than what happened with Sodachi. All this talk about sticking it through or it being in character doesn't matter because people who get in that many giant fights with the person they claim to love lose my respect. Once? Fine. There was a big issue, they resolved it and figured out how to make it not happen again. More than that? They're just treating their partner poorly.
Ougi is the cutest and spookiest.
>should've got a job
She did. She had to pay back the loan she took out just to afford a place to live after Crab's shitfit caused her to leave the Araragis.
>could've asked for someone to pay for it
She might've asked the Araragis if Crab's shitfit didn't cuase her to leave them.
I can post about Ougi all day
Ask who to pay it? She got a job later that offered special loans and bought a house.
The summaries didn't say how she survived those years in between, but she likely got help from someone else like that public servant or someone from the college. Or maybe she got her foster parents in Sodachi Fiasco to pay her expenses, but it's hard to guess when they skipped so much of her story.
I don't have anything against Crab, but I don't understand why Nisio keeps them together. Bat is clearly long term end game, and Crab hasn't had any real development in ages and has had no real role outside of being RRRG's mostly off screen girlfriend.
Breakups almost always require large fuckups on the part of both parties. They were both treating each other poorly each time they broke up. The first time is what can be overlooked as a learning experience.
I think there's still the possibility that he will really write her off. Maybe these latest ones are to test the waters and see how much he can get away with it, alternatively, he's trying to gradually bring down her reputation until she's written off.
He has a hard on for the idea of the "main heroine" mostly being a background character after featuring her so prominently in the beginning of the series.
It's the only explanation I can think of. If he truly didn't like her or wanted her and Araragi to break up, he had a perfect opportunity in this book but that didn't happen. And I really doubt he'd keep her around for needless drama since he's avoided that for the most part. Even their break ups and legitimate issues that would be a major plot point in more stories was completely skipped over and we just get some recaps after it's all happened. By the time we see her again, she's moved back to Japan and there's marriage talk going on.
Only autists on /a/ think her reputation is being brought down.
And they think this based on just four pages of her in the book and Araragi recounting the bare basics of events that happened years ago.
You can just watch it for fanservice.
If you need further insight into her character, just rewatch this scene
Will you Orokamono-tachi ever stop?
That's unfortunate, I actually went to see the first one with my ~63 year old dad because I was visiting at the time it was airing, still had to drive like an hour to get to a theater though.
My parents wanted to know more about my hobbies so I went and saw it with my dad while my ~60 year old mother enjoyed shopping nearby, he enjoyed the movie and she liked seeing people in cosplay.
>Maybe these latest ones are to test the waters and see how much he can get away with it
Oh you mean with the fanbase? If they'll be fine with him writing her out? He could be doing that.
Monogatari has a pretty small cast, or rather, a contained cast. So far, unless the character has been killed, said character will have involvement/appearances to the story and eventually have an importance. There isn't even any "X's friend/classmate/associate" that is just a one off in one arc.
But otherwise, not with Monogatari yet, but he has done that in other mediums such as Medaka Box.
Yeah and basically those are the only characters who appear once in an arc.
Every other one, even that guy from Tsukimonogatari, come back to the story and does something.
I mean, can you name a minor character that only shows up once for an arc and not important/relevant in another arc?
Nah not anymore, ever since the news about the latest novels showing she's gotten better. You can look at this very thread to see there are no more people berating the snakefags.
So does she have a name or is a faceless character?
What I mean are characters like "MC's male friend who later on has no role or even disappears after a certain point" or "the sibling of one the characters who's only purpose is to show said character has a sibling and effectively doesnt do anything in the story".
She wouldn't, his dad is probably an absolute alpha. I'm sure Mamaragi doesn't want no imitations, she wants the original, not his spawn.
Go write an Oedipus-like fanfic if you want that.
What was their logic behind making Koyomi keep Sodachi at his house though, they already know and chat with Gahara?
>well he's already boning half the chicks in this town, one more couldn't hurt
Ctrl+F gives me 12 results by searching "subs". What do you think?
I already read the book so I am just gonna watch the RAW and enjoy.
There's something to be said for keeping the momentum of a series up. They've been doing 3-Gatsu and Kizu at the same time. They can do Fate and Owari at the same time. Whether or not they will is another question.
Huh. I think some of the previous explanations I've seen for this might have been BS.
hitagi senjougahara (wedding dresses ?)
Thanks for the smile, anon. Have a (you).
Would you stay in high school forever for her?
Knowing Nisio it'll probably happen inbetween arcs or some shit. He released a few short stories leading up to Gahara & the Fire Sisters meeting for the first time, then glosses over the actual meeting and ends with a tangentially related story set after the meeting with Koyomi & Shinobu.
At the beginning of the Shinobu Mail arc, what did Ougi mean when she was talking about what befell Kaiki? My mind immediately went to him being dead, but that happens chronologically afterwards, right? Is she just generally talking about his inability to tell people his true intentions hurting his relationships? I am confused
Yes, I know. I'm assuming the framing device of Araragi telling Ougi the story of Mail takes place before, as well. I don't understand specifically what she's talking about when she says that they both know what fate befell Kaiki, if this happens before Koi
It's not very memorable
Honestly Cat's first OP is just shit, I'm re watching Bake and Monkey's OP is not that bad from what I remember but Cat's is still shit.
Marshmallow Justice is pretty good, can't really find why someone would think it's shit.
If you really love someone it's worth any risk.
I'm talking in general compared to all the other OP's,
Although I do love me some Platinum DIsco, surprisingly normies love it.
People rate things as good, meh, bad.
For most people it doesnt make it to the "good" department so it slides into the "bad" since no one cares about what you think is sort of ok.
she has long hair again, she's so beautiful ;_;
Wasn't expecting a second copy of the sword despite being forewarned by Ougi. He also could deal with *teleports behind you*
