Actually, that already exists. One of the main characters is even called Christina.
>mfw I realized that Maho would immediately dive on Kurisu's muff given the chance
>this is a general
you can't prove that
>hating yourself for making good decisions
I tried two of them. The MS and some third party thing.
I did all what you said before. Still it had problems. I think it's related to the video card or something. It crashed and showed me some "gp" or "resolution" problem.
Just give me a second.
Home premium doesn't allow me to download language packs. I can only do this with ULtimate.
But I managed to do so with some vista packages.
The problem is another one, tho. Wait a moment I'm trying to screencap it.
Are you retarded? You don't need any language packs. Having your system locale in Japanese is different to having your system language in Japanese, you stupid faggot. Google what non-uncode locale means and how to change it. And learn how to type properly, you reek of faggotry.
You're right, I should've ignored him entirely. It is entirely my fault for enabling him. Why did I even put him towards google to search for the correct solution? He doesn't deserve to read the VN as he is.
I still can't tell whether he enjoyed being around Okabe & everyone and only did what he did because he thought it was for the good of humanity or if he only stuck around Okabe because of his connection to Kurisu.
My impression is that it was a bit of both.
In the end though we don't know if his "goofy friendly american" persona was just a farse or just who he is when he's not being a stratfo agent
>Went into S;G0 looking forward to Punished Okabe, AI Kurisu, and more fun/depressing times with all the great characters.
>Came out completely obsessed with the perfection that is Maho.
Can't wait to see her animated.
I can't wait either.
The biggest issue with 0 is that the big climax of the story already happened before you even begin the game. When you take the events from 0 as a lead-in to Okabe receiving the message from the future and reaching Steins;Gate it's quite a well told story, but since we already know what's gonna happen 0 when taken standalone loses a lot of its impact.
They still managed to do a great job with it despite that problem.
Maho should be around 36 in this pic so she actually is an eternal loli. that's pure perfection.
anyway did they have something or for okabe maho was just the replacement of kurisu?
Considering that depressing codename, she was probably just a replacement.
so when they finally animate this VN how are they gonna put kurisus route and mayuris at the same time? both routes are needed to understand and finally, achieve the true ending. but both are pretty deferent compared to each other.
I don't think the S;G adaptation uses parts from the other routes. It was just a slightly modified true route.
>do 1 route that takes pieces of all the others
You can't, the elements of those two routes were largely different.
You can however take pieces from alternate routes and include it to respective branch.
What else am I supposed to fucking use to find nude images of Maho?
I tried to keep an open mind about her but none of her interactions really struck me, she basically felt like a satellite character for Mayuri. Some of her moments could have been powerful if she had left a bigger impression on me as a character.
The problem is that she has no characterization outside of her "child time traveler who has amnesia and misses her mom/has Kurisu's memories". She has no personality of her own and lacks substance.
Maybe it's because I've read other VNs with hardcore suffering, but I expected more emphasis on the 'Punished'.
i really liked her interaction with Mayuri
I want Maho to be happy. I feel really bad that all of these lab members and their friends will be haunted by phantom pains and bad dreams for the rest of their days in the Steins;gate world line actually.
The chapter with Moeka and Mr. Braun.
They cut out Nae and for some reason had Mr. Braun shoot and kill Moeka himself completely ruining everything to save on some more exposition.
Holy shit. Started Gehenna's Stigma and as expected,
Leskinen turned out to be a treacherous swinegolian faggot fuck.
On the contrary I think everyone understands his desire to see some Japanese shaman girls
Kurisu couldn't figure it out, so there's no way in hell Leskinen did.
They had SOMETHING but Maho knows Okabe will always truly love Kurisu, no matter what world line, wether Kurisu is alive or dead. She had feelings for him as shown when she tried to sound like Kurisu to calm down sleeping Okabe but knows they can never be truly together
Where will I find more music like Suzuhas character song? Preferrably in moonspeak but doesn't have to be
He just wanted to raise humanity to a new level and make sure we all knew what time travel was, how to do it, and how to percieve non-linear time. He was a fucking hero.
Just because you started browsing this board when it was already in such a shitty state, doesn't mean it was always like that.
Thanks for confirming you have been here for less than 2 years.
Not quite yet. Quasi-generals. Besides things are quietening on their own. Should thread about something that isn't currently airing be purged? Perhaps only the ones with high traffic?
It does. Okabe was scum for much of SG0. Let's not sugercoat around that.
Suzuha had to deal with this overwhelming sense of powerlessness, despair and guilt throughout the entire course of the game, worse than what Okabe had in some ways, down to holding herself directly responsible for the whole Shina Kagari mess, and being in that momentary bliss with her parents in that half a year is just the worst thing to experience when she knows that the world was going straight to hell after that.
Holy shit, I'm pretty sure he is referencing Stratfor here. It's basically one letter off("for" vs "foc").
Btw you should all read the Wikileaks Stratfor files. It's extremely enlightening and entertaining, not to mention their clientele is orders of magnitude more illustrious than even the fucking Bildeberg visitor list.
It's kind of hard to see Suzuha interact with her mom, pop and all the lab members. The hurt for her just gets worse and worse when she's looking at how these gentle and great people ended up suffering in that crummy future that all of them will sacrifice to undo.
The funny part is, Stratfor was founded by
In that sense, I guess it's the most
Okabe certainly was frustrating but it's not like he didn't have a good reason for acting the way he did. Guy has PTSD, witnessed his childhood friend die over and over only to come to the conclusion that the woman he loved must die instead, by his own hands. That's not including all the other shit he had to deal with along the way.
So while yes he needed to wake up out of depression to move forward, those feelings and his state of being are totally understandable and don't warrant killing or torturing him for it.
And remember that almost everything that happened in S;G was because he acted like a child, playing with dangerous stuff until everything went to shit
So thats another reason to act like he did in 0, but it wasn't all his fault
I just felt bad for Suzuha. She lost and sacrificed so much for him to reach Steins;Gate and he just gave up. I'm not saying killing him was a good option but if I was in her place I would've dragged his ass back into the time machine.
Also, where can I get that vaping fluid
felt really bad for Maho at this moment
ikr, became attached to Maho during the game, and most of her CG are really cute
Also what was the point of Kaede and Fubuki, and here I thought I'll see some good character development of these two, but none, kind of disappointed
Kagari was meh like >>152224988 said
Reyes a sonuvabitch
That's my favorite too, alongside with pic related.
The Amadeus shutdown / deletion scene in Twin Automata.
the awakening scene in Vega and Altair and The Promised Rinascimento were the best part of the VN to be honest
was previsible, but made me smile nonetheless
That was another great scene. 0 is full of nice moments.
Why the fuck are mikos translated as 'shamans' anyways? Not the first time I see this. Why not just nuns? Of course it's not the same, but it's still closer, and better sounding than shrine maiden or shrine attendant.
Nuns are completely distinct from Japanese shaman girls. It wouldn't do.
Honestly, it's a little hard for me to side with Suzuha here over Okabe.
When she mentioned how she would be willing to do anything to get his opportunity I could only remember the scene in the original on the bridge since I just recently replayed that. Okabe also thought he was willing to do anything to rescue Mayuri too, but it didn't take very long for his resolve to crumble. What Suzuha has gone through and what Okabe has gone through don't really feel comparable.
This is a picture of my wife and our daughteru.
Just completed the VN.
One thing that felt unresolved was why did Kagari look so much like Kurisu. Was she some discarded experiment in post WW3 worldline trying to recreate genetically improved Kurisu who was later on brainwashed by Leskinen depending on the route?
There isn't a reason. It was pure coincidence.
Blick and Steiner should've been on the team, absolutely. It's sad they don't have the SciADV series anymore since that one guy who did Zero is going to TL the rest, but I wish them luck in whatever comes next.
On a more irritating note apparently my game bugged out causing the Promised Reminiscento ending to override the Mother Goose ending in the clear list. Also for some reason some CG's remain unlocked despite having played through all scenes.
Is the movie subbed yet?
>you will never see Suzuha calling up big sis Nae who's working at JAXA
>you will never see Maho and Kurisu debating with each other on memory imprint by d-mail to any given target
>you will never see Fayris taping Kagari playing with Suzuha
>You will never see Suzuhas adventures with her own club of childhood friends
>You will never see Okarin and Kurisu, two ultra virgins, try to awkardly have their first time like they're in a cheap bootleg hentai
>You will never see Daru and Yuki treating Suzuha like a princess and making her cosplay different characters each day
>You will never see
Mayuri peeping from a closet, touching herself while watching Okabe and Kurisu fuck
>You will never see Kurisu introduce Okabe to the university where she works as the new guy
>You will never see Maho and Okabe meeting in the S;G world line
>Ywn anything ever again
>the guy who's translating C;C goes with KnightHeart
Don't forget the fact that Mayuri and Okabe share the same Grandma. If this guy is let near Chaos;Child he will surely fuck up the small implicated things not visible to the average jow.
We need Winkel and Steiner, where are they?
>Okabe and Mayuri are cousins
That's pretty hot.
It's been translated for a while.
huke designed her to look like such, and the staff just went along with the whole idea.
Ok i replayed both routes again to be sure, but i still don't get it? how did the D-Rine from Rinascimento got to Vega and Altair? the D-mail arrived way after the routes branch away from each other.
Also in Recursive Mother Goose, did they just pull a free information loop?
In general i just feel Zero has too much plotholes for a story that was supposed to answer questions.
>the D-mail arrived way after the routes branch away from each other.
In game it was like a couple of hours of difference, and it's like two scenes apart, the anime will probably make it to look like it got just before Okabe was about to turn off the phone
Most people acknowledge there were some issues with shitty characterization for unnecessary characters, laziness with sprites/route decisions, and poor translation, but overall people like the game for what it is.
>Too many unnecessary scenes
>Pacing is a mess
>Punished Okabe for 95% of the game isn't fun
>Two fucking time machine at the same time
I agree it had some good moments but the disappointing one outweighs the good. The game felt like a cheap cash cow.
He has no idea that Ruka's a boy.
Okabe doesn't receive the D-Rine from Rinascimento because the world line changed before it happened. Otherwise he would've gotten it in the same place he got it in Vega and Altair.
Guys, I think I succesfully changed all "300-Man Committee" lines to Committee of 300 in Chaos;Head PC, but I need a savefile that goes to the point where that line is said.
Can somebody help?
If you can stop the save file corruption bug in chapter 6 or 7 (depending on the version of the patch) and stop the skipping of a certain delusion trigger (either on O-Front or Kozue after getting rescued from DQNs) then I would be most happy if you would share it with us.
The loading doesn't matter. What is important is the version of the patch the save file was made with.
It is possible to load a save from the older patch version and thereby reading all delusions.
>cheap cash cow
That seems a little harsh but they definitely should have worked on it some more. Feels like they took a bunch of cool ideas but didn't plan out the story properly.
Whatever, I don't know if someone can test this right now, (I can't. I'm in the hospital right now.) Don't know if I fixed the Chapter 7 bug, I just re-translated some lines.
Please make a backup before trying this.
Chaos;Head PC nss.npa file with Committee lines fixed: https://mega.nz/#!HJZVyYJQ!D6dhz-rb1df8Ei1YvumcAQXdhS3Pe6iztwObqDrUauk
Yes, this skips the scene on the scramble when first talking to Kozue when she talks directly into Takumi's head. It skips to them both being in Loft (the department store).
This means, it skips a two delusions. From the beginning of the first to the ending of the second skipped delusion.
Your version certainly makes it Committee of 300.
Yes, this patch makes the game crash when loading a save made in Chapter 7, skips Kozue's delusions in chapter 7 after being rescued by the DQNs and I can now confirm that this version doesn't skip the questions on O-Front.
And of course, it replaced 300-man committee with Committee of 300.
>Feels like they took a bunch of cool ideas
Well, all they did was turning Epigraph into a VN and spice it some more.
At the very least, I'm glad they put much effort into spicing it even though some of it didn't work.
That's great. Maybe I could re-translate some other terminologies (like Knight-Hart to NeidHardt) tomorrow.
Are there other words or small line that need fixing?
Shame. Is there any version of the nss.npa file that doesn't have that bug so I can work on that one?
The original untranslated one maybe.
I wouldn't know.
There are two versions, the one yours is based on the one that crashes when loading a save made in chapter 7 and skipping Kozue delusion in the same chapter.
And the other is skipping the delusion trigger on O-Front (the one with the questions) and makes saving in chapter 6 impossible.
What's also bad about the translation is that some scenes' text will scroll without player action. In chapter 7, some text is also left untranslated. Takumi's thoughts when kicked "I want to kill them" are left untranslated. And in B Ending there are even more untranslated lines and text going out of bounds and all those things.
Not the one who made the patch but I wish I could contribute in some way.
But the most I could do is probably test for bugs or something. But they surely have enough testers. I am useless.
Thing is, I don't really know moonrunes. I just know how to change script lines on .npa files, so I decided to change those lines as a test.
What I know is that they need (or needed) a proper translator
Well translators who are neither Winkel nor Steiner don't want to work on this, right?
If you could eliminate the famous chapter 7 bug it'd be worthwhile, but otherwise it is pointless.
Thanks for the kind words anon, but I wish I could do more.
Steiner can't do anything because PQube and 5pb, know who he is and he can get in trouble if he helps in this.
It seems that fixing chapter 7 requires some more advanced programming skills, which I don't have. Sorry.
I know about Steiners and Winkels circumstances.
>which I don't have.
Well, then it's almost nothing. What does the extracted script look like in the skipped scene? Can you show me? Maybe it's an error in the script that makes the whole chapter wonky.
Ok. From what I read here http://erogegames.com/eroge-visual-novels/eroge-tech-support/463-chaos-head-english-patch-bug-4/
the missing scene is number 144 from chapter 7.
Here's the script file: https://mega.nz/#!OEJBiYJT!9QogTTyaR-JQB1MCb1mRblMP3RBK7pdJZUR7hxZ7ATM
You can open it up using Wordpad.
Don't get your hopes up.
I will compare the text of the skipping version with the text of the version that doesn't skip. Maybe there are differences. If there aren't then the problem lies elsewhere.
Well, even if we don't find the issue, I will continue to re-translate the file next week. Hopefully, it can be slightly better from what we had before and may be a nice treat before CoZ releases Noah.
Found some differences. There are more at the end of the file, but I screenshotted them for now.
I'm angry at the others too, to be honest. It won't be much longer, though.
>they have access to vita translation rips
That's not the issue at all.
We had the actual text transfer into the game working so fast that we could have had a patch out day 1 if we wanted it to be cheap, but there's a lot more to it than that.
Left is Anons version, right is my version.
Left skips, right doesn't.
I have found something interesting.
There is two ' instead of a single " in this line.
I will try changing this back into a " and repack it and test it out.
Wish me luck.
El. Psy. Kongroo.
>Green delusion is readable
I hope I didn't mix up my old patch with the new one, but do I rejoice now?
Yes, this is the new version of the patch, created by anon and corrected by me
>mfw I solved the chapter 7 bug
>mfw no face
If the other delusions are also readable, you may have just fixed one major bug that has remained for over 4 years.
Hopefully the save bug has also been fixed by this.
>mfw I solved the chapter 7 bug
>mfw it was a simple typo in the script
We learn, that it's always a missing semicolon or something equally retarded that fucks up your code.
Here is proof of both loading the chapter and the delusion itself working.
The file itself. I shall be remembered as a hero, who rescued the PC version.
Now, someone please translate Noah.
And also, I want the anon who changed the Committee line to give me a way of contacting him. I will check the file before another one of these bugs comes up.
Basically we altered the script of a file that's compressed into another file.
That file is nss.npa, located in the game directory.
So,to fix the chapter 7 issues just copy and paste the new file.
Pretty sure we have to spread the word about it. Maybe we can make a few more trivial changes like change some of the wording around for some iffy bits of translation.
It's because we're all in this together anon. We can all share this victory together.
T-this means N-noah has to get t-tr-translated now right guys? This isn't just some shared delusion we're all having?
Are you willing to give me an email address or some means of contacting you? I don't have a throwaway address I could disclose on 4chan right now, I'm sorry.
It is quite literally the delusion you wished for.
This day shall be known as the day we took back our Blue Sky.
Because the blue sky I desire is the sky you desire
May the feelings I paint reach the future you sing
The localization isn't out yet, but it's been soft confirmed by a PR guy at PQube and a few sites have put up listings and taken them down, just like with Steins;Gate 0. I'd be surprised if it didn't happen.
Too bad, least there's a PC version
I salute all my Rimi friends.
>It's hard not to have high moral around here. It's a good thing to have until Noah comes out.
Yeah, certainly hope this cheeriness can keep up.
We already missed the hype wave for S;G 0 by a long shot, after all.
Same. I remember downloading the chapter 7 bug fix in an old mediafire folder that was filled with SciADV stuff.
Here it is if anyone is interested in it.
Just to confirm, this is the game + patch I'd need to place the .npa into? I remember the last time I downloaded C;H for some reason the OP had no audio.
>Are you sonome.dareno.me ?
>Is there some way anyone of us could help you?
1. Yes. Well, the group's officially called the Committee of Zero. We know that we have an amazing URL, but we didn't expect that to define the group.
2. Depends on who you are, and when we need help. We have most of the bases covered right now, and so if we ask for help we don't need we'll just leave people lying around waiting to do work.
I will say, though, that our Discord is the best place to go for updates. You can find the link to that on our About page.
If you have all your bases covered, then I won't bother imposing myself.
Did you seriously think I wouldn't use that URL to refer to you? I only care about Noah and the inevitable Chaos;Child cleanup patch.
Zero was kinda disappointing for the reasons already pointed out in this thread.
Well, we sort of adopted the name from our tech team. I like it, even if the name favors Zero.
I'm totally in it for C;H Noah, but that can't officially start until the Zero patch is released.
Also, what is it that you're capable of? Even if we have the bases covered, it's good to have backup.
I have a little bit of programming language and the autism needed to audit code to find flaws in syntax, as evidenced by me finding the flaw in the PC Version. I also have a bit of language autism in general, meaning I can't tolerate any kind of obvious mistakes, English is my second language and my sentences might seem strange as I am used to the free grammar of German, so I can't be an editor as I can't write English on a satisfactory level. I can't read Japanese except for Hiragana, so I am unneeded, I guess. Have you found a translator yet? It would make me happy to hear that everything will be ready after you finished work on Zero.
FILLED WITH THE LOVE FROM UP ABOVE
You're probably right that you wouldn't be much of a help, but I don't see that as a reason from discouraging you from joining the group or anything.
It's not like we only made the group public for the sake of admissions to the team or anything.
Um, since he turned off his phone for Rinascimento? And didn't for Vega and Altair. Meaning, in one of the worldlines D-RINE actually had somewhere to go.
It is fully possible that Daru's RINE doesn't have a mechanism for getting messages to you when you're offline, especially if it's P2P. Mechanisms like that are pretty tricky to implement, after all.
If the worldlines are identical until Okabe's Reading Steiner triggers, then I think he received D-RINE a little bit before he would've gotten a worldline shift reaction.
Now, the better question would be, how are these worldline considered identical when there's already a ton of stuff that went differently with Kagari, in the past. But apparently somehow they are. Then again, for Okabe it's all identical, and we know worldlines kinda depend on perception of people for some reason, so maybe it doesn't matter as long as he doesn't know.
And yes, they did. Apparently these are not impossible. To be honest, considering the worldlines allow stable time loops, it's not like it's even that much of a stretch. For both things, cause and effect are made irrelevant, and the timeline only makes sense as a static entity that is formed "all at once" metaphysically.
We are all a big family after all.
Science Novel series gets neglected
Because the LN was cancelled before the anime even aired
Least were getting a VN instead. A;C's plot is hella interesting too
O;N had two S;G references
or maybe more from other series
I'm interested to see where they'll take the other routes and see if maybe they'll have a VN original true end.
I have absolutely no faith in C;C's adaptation. I swear Steins;gate was a complete fluke.
>Other masked man (presumely gamotan's dad) following him before the phone call
>Blank memories after Asuna reads gamotan's body
I think there's a way gamotan could come back
Playing through chapter 6 and 7 again, it's a real shame that Chiyo chose GE and biorhythms as part of the science for this adventure. He could've gone with neural rhythms instead and had a viable mechanism for his story.
Wow. Daru sure picked a convenient time to stop being a lazy fat sack of shit in Vega. If I was in Okabe's place after what he did, I'd have put bullets through everyone in the lab including myself right there and then.
I'd say the studio put an extra effort and manage to pulls a competent team for S;G.
One thing I never understood was why they didn't take full advantage of Faris' wealth in either game. I mean she was ready to do quite a lot for Okabe, and was very likely into him in most timelines we saw.
Why do people like him again? All he did was backwards-rationalise his lust for money and power. In truth he never gave a shit about deterrence or whatever. He was just a sociopathic machiavellian asshole that fucked over everyone who trusted him.
Yes, I know, but that's not nearly all they could do.
Perhaps most people don't think about it much, but even a little money could make a huge difference if used properly. Faris is rich enough to afford a butler. Where I live we have property magnates that are worth literally billions, and the city is not nearly as important a capital as Tokyo.
It's such bullshit. Who would even care about a fictional fictional piece of media? Why not stick to one world? S;G was a masterpiece and now it's just a minor part of some retarded new franchise?
It's Committee, I ain't gotta explain shit.
It's probably just Shun memeing S;G again
I thought that too so I messaged Steiner but he said in the context, Kiryu and Shun were talking as though they both worked for the Committee and knew that they would kill everyone involved in the incident.
The story starts on February 6, 2036, when an accident involving computers going berserk destroys many large cities around the world. The massive disaster is named the "2036 Problem", but there's a prediction that there will be a similar incident in 2038. So a group of scientists use the Gaia Supercomputer to create an "Earth Simulator" to prevent it from happening, but fail because human birth potential has dropped dramatically.
The scientists then introduce the "Arecibo Message" formula to the Earth Simulator, successfully bringing mankind into another world. They are excited at first, until they realize that human beings in the Earth Simulator themselves created another Earth Simulator. The scientists begin to suspect that they are actually only the product of an Earth Simulator from creatures whose position is above them.
The story centers around Takaoka Pollon, a hacker who has the ability to "Save and Load" like in a video game. Using his Hacking Trigger System, he can intervene with the world line around him.
I think A;C will be good but I don't like the character designs much
Anyone been wondering about this lately?
I dunno, I love the designs, even more than O;9's.
I'm not implying that O;9 design is shit though, it's great.
> Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita
> also need to wait for translation
Fuck. At least I can learn Japanese for free.
But I still looking forward to it, plot looks very interesting for me.
Actually, I don't think that that's what QF states, there's not even an agreement on the interpretation of basic quantum mechanical laws AFAIK.
But yeah, the chance that we live in a simulation is breddy high.
I heard somewhere that writing isn't too effective. Might be different for different people of course.
I'm not even past the very basics. I have a long way to go, but I don't mind. I already can understand small bits and pieces here and there, and that's exactly how I learned English.
Also, I want to GTFO the West because things don't seem to be heading in a good direction. Knowing an azn language would be very helpful in that endeavor.
Looks like not even hell itself wanted us.
>myu-pom will never stay with you throughout eternity as a ghost I can't wait for Myu-pom route in the games
SShit fuck thts fuking Nae isn't it? Of course shes gonna be the one to suddenly burst in with armed fucking thugs goddam Tennoujis what the fuck is wrong with this family
Well that was a quick change. Can't wait to see whats actually going down.
I've seen caps from some manga that I expect to be from one of the R;N mangas, where Yuki appears carrying baby Suzuha and one where Nae talks with Okabe. Are the mangas translated anywhere? what about the other mangas or light novels about O;N or A;C, what all is translated?
There seems to be an end route where gamotan lives
There is one R;N manga that was translated, but it's not the one that you're referring about.
