Didn't see one in the catalog
Let's have a 3x3 Thread
Bait poster please go.
Well I do have a 3x3 just for Japanese monsters
I like both of those too, I am just waiting for the rest of S2 of Ace to be subbed.
a mediocre like Patlabor 2, a bad like Utena, and rest unknown
mostly unknown, been wanting to see Space Cobra
goods like Death Note, Zegapain, and Shin Mazinger, rest unknown
a bad like Casshern Sins, a mediocre like Kaiba, a good like NGE, and a 1/10 like Infinite Ryvius, rest unknown although I'm half way through Monster and it's extremely cheap
A good like Escaflowne, a mediocre like Macross: DYRL?, and a bad like Chobits, rest unknown although I want to see TV GitS
>Monster and it's extremely cheap
FINALLY someone agrees with me! How the hell can this pass as good anime when the animation cuts corners every chance it gets over SEVENTY FOUR DAMN EPISODES? And for every one good episode there is another three that could have been cut out, it really says something when filler levels are on par with Naruto.
>mecha to show that you know all about the roots of anime
Also, I don't why people grandstand with stuff like this. Your absolute favorites could all be similar, but that doesn't mean those are the only things you like.
Damn you've seen right through me.
Can you please change the Texh image. It makes my dick shrivel everytime I see it.
2/9. You got me at children's anime.
Adolescence of Utena? More like preadolescence of YOUtena. Because it's so shallow.
>I even have to shoehorn my fetish for parallel lines into my 3x3.
One of these things is not like the others: clean up the background on your HxH picture for fuck's sake.
I hate it when pretentious assbandoliers like you choose intentionally obscure screenshots just to look arty. I can't even fucking tell what the middle is supposed to be.
Infinite Ryvius is one filthy pig away from being a straight out rip-off of Lord of the Flies. Well, it was until you started watching it.
This is a 3x3 thread, not a 2x2 thread, you heathen.
RahXephon? More like BLAHxephon, right? Right? Because it's so bad. And pretentious.
Ranma 1/2 is still .5 more than you're getting from me. 0/0
Am I enjoying the Time of Eve? No, because I fortunately have enough taste to see through a shitty I, Robot coffeeshop AU.
I don't know how anyone could put up with Kare Kano's disastrous first half to even make it to the ending, let alone put it on their 3x3.
Baccano is just shorthand for "これは馬鹿の３x３です。"
>"I'm only here for the cute girls. Oh, and Akari too, I guess."
>he labels the shows on his 3x3
>I hate it when pretentious assbandoliers like you choose intentionally obscure screenshots just to look arty.
I'm not- Wait
>I can't even fucking tell what the middle is supposed to be.

God, you must be the most joyless pedant ton be around. Just another neo-/a/ hipster who pretends to enjoy Shortz's directorial work so he can put on patrician airs. Go watch a real anime, not pretentious bullshit like 58762.
Two minutes on a translator site. Once you get the first three letters or so, it's usually obvious, and frankly easier than figuring out whether you recognize some of the actual charts around here.
Fill in the blanks?
>"good" slice of life
>Anime shows that character just discovered something
>He makes a scared face and starts having mental breakdowns like the information he just received was the most frightening thing in the world
>Melodrama keeps going for some minutes and nothing happens
>When you finally think the anime will reveal what it is the scene cuts and changes to another arc
>The anime does this literally everytime
>When the informations are finally reveled in later episodes they end up being disappointing due to the show trying to hype them so much
>Character is with a gun pointed at someone
>it stats like this for like 5 minutes
>Scene cuts when gun is finally fired
>When it comes back to that scene/arc you will realize that nothing happened
I don't know how people can watch Monster without getting tired of the forced and cheap plot/narrative devices.
>Everything is resolved and everything makes sense.
So?That has nothing to do with what I said. Also, not everything makes sense, not even close to it.
>Moving and changing arcs don't not cheapen anything.
It does though. If it was confident enough in its story the anime wouldn't need to do these silly and retarded scenes in a desperate and failed attempt to build up hype into the viewer. They weren't very good the first time around, but when you abuse them like Monster did they just become a chore to get through and will have the reverse affect, which is to make viewers less hyped to the revelations or scenes.
>Also, not everything makes sense, not even close to it.
No, everything is resolved and makes sense.
>f it was confident enough in its story the anime wouldn't need to do these silly and retarded scenes in a desperate and failed attempt to build up hype into the viewer.
And I'm sure you can give examples?
You'd be surprised, people are arguing that the way Monster is presented is shit without making any arguments.
>No, everything is resolved and makes sense.
If we accept that Johan is a divine being that wields magic, then yes, everything makes sense.
>And I'm sure you can give examples?
I already described some them here >>152073915. What I described happens in almost every episode in one way or another, the author just loves to introduce a bunch of ideas, hype the viewer to them in a cheap way(at least in the anime)to then conclude in a unsatisfactory or lackluster way.
>without making any arguments.
How I am not making any arguments? Are you really denying that what I'm describing happens in the anime with frequency?
