Which idles do you expect to win the S4 Selections? Which idles do you want to win the S4 Selections? Which Pripara characters will be selected for S4?
Hime should be held back a year and be S4 forever.
This is the resolution according to the page info
Reminder that PriPara S4 is getting rid of Lala's old hag form because they finally realized that elementary schoolers are the best.
Little Lala isn't allowed in PriPara, therefore she's inferior.
It's the System.
Garumageddon and NonSugar are wonderful units, hopefully they too will shed their old hag forms in S4.
Someday, but not today.
This is hardcore.
She's not ded, she is waiting for her turn to shine with triangle in the last arc of season 3
Look, I love the Triangle Nons – yes, even Pinon – as much as the next guy, but she's just not the
I actually instinctively disliked vanilla Non, but now she's really grown on me and I find her cuter every episode.
Man, the [email protected] animation is a lot better than I remember from watching the series years ago. I might have been put off by the non-concert scenes being so janky and off-model literally 90+% of the time.
Shame the anime itself sucks so hard.
>Ajimi below all the literal whos
It's because Reina Ueda plays two roles: her second, and Chinatsu Akasaki's second, are at the bottom.
It's the script for the 2017 PriPara movie. Says so right on the cover.
Singapore gets fully english translated versions of japanese arcade machines.
I want to fuck Lala.
That's enough /a/non ! You're going to jail !
Stars also in April for the 2017 Bandai Logipal calendar.
I need a life
"Dispatch, we need additional units and K9 to control the situation, over."
Worst song vocal match.
Madoka or Hime
Like a pumpkin lantern. I finally get it.
The voices aren't bad. The match to their speaking voice is.
I hope Aikatsu 3.0 does away with this. It's really weird watching a concert thinking a character's VA looks pretty but you remind yourself they're technically not. Also the problems when one person voices multiple characters in a song.
We still have arcades just scattered around, quite a few manage to survive in NY and the west coast.
Some malls also still have arcades, but malls are also dying.
If you're really lucky you'll live close to a Round 1 and be able to play shiny games from nipland.
I don't know why, but I get a kick out of real little girl's reactions to /ai/ shows.
Me too. They're so earnest. Big friends (little girl anime pros) are often so experienced (jaded). The show works more like intended on little girls. If it means for them to be angry, they're angry. They don't see the obvious reconciliation coming up, or that it was all a big misunderstanding etc.
I went to look at the PriPara RP wiki a while ago, and think there are some people there who ought to have stopped playing with little girls some time ago.
If you prefer it without.
I had no idea
They're also all named after colours:
KUROsu Aroma : Black
SHIROtama Mikan : White
KIki Ajimi : Yellow
Shikyouin Hibiki : Purple
MIDORIkaze Fuwari = Green (also Fuwari means soft/fluffy, which is probably a reference to touch)
She doesn't come back after being shipped back to Europara at the end of S2?
Most of the birthdays mean something too.
>West twins - 2/5
Twins = Futago
Futa = 2 / Go = 5
>Shion - 1/5
Catchphrase - Igo
Ichi = 1 / Go = 5
>Sophie - 7/30
Pickpled Plum Day
>Mikan - 10/4
Ten (10) - Shi (4)
Tenshi = Angel
>Aroma - 6/6/6
666 - Mark of the Beast
>Fuwari - 9/11
I'm not sure if Lala's (11/20) or Mirei's (10/1) mean anything
Is this /ai/?
Looks like it.
>Only qualification for being an idol politician is jogging up a hill
It's literally Aikatsu. Also oishii gohan.
They want YoI audience now?
I guess it's not surprising for that YumeRola animator to ship NozoSuba.
I wish I could create friends ;_;
I wonder if this lingering shot while the others were teasing Subaru means he's going to have a role in bringing him and Yume together.
My birthday is in November too, why wasn't I invited?
Girl please, your ass ain't that big.
>4 Song Candidates
Fuck. Song's selection's gonna be heartbreaking.
I'm fully expecting Rainbow Yume to make a return in a last ditch effort to get into S4.
I just finished watching Aria today. It did take me over a year, but it always cheered me up.
Origination was absolutely amazing and my favorite part of the series. I couldn't stop and watched all of it over the weekend.
Dance sidle designs are too nice to stay sidles.
>thinking anyone stands a chance against Lily
Here's how it's going to go down
Year 1: Lilly (Yume becomes a Kanboo)
Year 2: Roller defeats Yume in the finals
Year 3: Roller and Yume face off one last time, and after an epic battle Yume wins, but when she goes to claim her throne she finds that all of S4 has been defeated singlehanded by the mysterious masked idle Charharu, who seems like she knows Yume from somewhere...
Is there an idol that could possibly EVEN TOUCH Mizuki Kanzaki? Let alone defeat her. And I’m not talking about Star Anis member Mizuki Kanzaki. I’m not talking about twice-member of Aikatsu8 Mizuki Kanzaki either. Hell, I’m not even talking about thrice-appointed Starlight Queen Mizuki Kanzaki with the Tristar and WM Units under her control (with her own exclusive brands Love Queen and Love Moonrise so she can make herself all the PRs she wants), equipped with her Constellation Dress, the award of Pon-Pon Crepe Image Girl, with Masquerade's DNA implanted in her so she has almost-endless stamina and can perform four Special Appeals while being at the top of the Aikatsu Ranking.
Didn't it get mentioned that the new S4 members would have to surpass the current S4 in order to be accepted? Or was that just more of a figure of sppech?
I guess if there isn't a suitable candidate they can keep their spot for another year(s) or so?
Maybe try reading it instead? I still plan on watching it all eventually, but the only thing that clicked with me from Amanchu's first episode was the music. Reading Amano's manga at your own pace might be a better experience. Her panel layouts flow incredibly well and her spreads are often more impactful than their adapted versions.
I'd assume not, just that they'd keep their spot as an S4 member.
Probably the one thing that kinda bugged me with the original Aikatsu, how Starlight Queen was supposed to be some be-all-end-all title/goal/etc but was only eligible to the middle school division, and the high school division was just sort of there yet you were supposed to infer that they were already some top tier idols.
>No S4 that year
>Rob the whole idol world of a supposedly amazing group of idols/performers for a whole year
>All possibly because on ONE class's fuckup in not producing anyone good enough
Definitely sounds like something he would do. I buy it.
Think of it like the starlight queen, Ichigo had to beat Mizuki to become the new starlight queen, she lost and eventually Mizuki graduated leaving a vacant spot.
Also the thing that all the starlight queens weren't middle schoolers anymore.
because the high school division didn't exist until half way through season 2. it was introduced basically so they didn't have to write the main characters out of the show, since they basically wrote themselves into a corner that way.
Im getting flachbacks.
It's too cold for me right now.
I think it takes a while to get used to Aria's style. When I first started, I couldn't watch more than 2 eps per sitting. Sometimes you're just not in the mood for Aria, so don't force yourself to get through it.
But Mizuki didn't graduate, she left. By the time Ichigo came back Otome was the current Queen for their last year which would mean that there wasn't a Queen that year Ichigo was gone since they didn't redo the competition, unless they still considered Mizuki the Queen even though she fucked off from Starlight and went AWOL for a whole year.
If that's the case and S4 operates the same way, then there wouldn't be an S4 that year if even one Class couldn't come up with someone to replace their current representative, except Yuzu since she'd probably still be in S4 for her 3rd year.
>Nobody beats Hime, Tsubasa, or Yozora
>Yuzu is the sole S4
Just as planned.
Wow Yume getting BTFO.
I was expecting a draw.
But Starlight Queen operates under the rule that only middle schoolers can compete. The third years in S4 however just mentioned in the recent episode that they wouldn't lose their spots/the competition.
The only thing I can think of is that they either keep their spot moving onto the high school division, or there's no S4 that year.
Them keeping their spots into highschool would be kinda bullshit since they're all middle schoolers. Is the high school division of Yotsuboshi just a bunch of scrubs?
I'm hoping that the high school division has their own own S4, or some equivalent of it.
If they can protect their spot into high school, you'd think there'd be at least one on the current S4.
Even though we know it exists, the high school division has pretty much never been mentioned in the show and as is it's really not much better than when Starlight's suddenly existed in S2.
Seems like they're keeping up the traditional seasonal hairstyle change.
Did our girl finally make it big?
She got voted into the Diet. Yeah /ourgirl/ made it big.
Which isn't really saying much because in the world of Idol Jihen, mainstream Japanese politicians are so corrupt, useless and out of touch, you're better off voting for Pop Idols whose only credential is 'I can run up a hill.'
Otome for Prime Minister!
Akari has never looked better, heh
but what's with that stupid hand sign?
I wonder how many /ai/nons on here remember these two?
>Now that I think about it, at the end of S1 Mizuki just won the SLQ cup and then fucked off to DA.
She probably couldn't negotiate higher rates with Orihime, and threatened to leave. DA must be paying more.
I would imagine that, since she founded it, she presumably has partial ownership of DA and thus complete freedom in her contract with the school, giving her 100% of her own money without having to split it with Starlight like she would have before, as well as a cut from all the lives of all the idols at DA. She's probably set for life.
Oh god my hear-
I also want to ride lala!
That would imply the opposite about the boy on the right ranking first on the Animage polls for 2+ years straight.
Absolutely fantastic, isn't she?
Hey, wait, don't die, hang in there anon!
Ichigo brings me pure happiness
YumeRola interview of Tomita (Yume) and Asai (Rola) promoting the movie back in September.
It's all cute stuff, but I really just want to point out the irony of Asai being the biggest M4 fangirl around despite voicing a character who doesn't have a love interest.
>There are many male characters that show up in "Aikatsu Stars!", do you have a favorite among them?
>Asai: Me, I love the M4 (lol)! I personally like Yuuki Subaru-kun and Igarashi Nozomu-kun. He's not my type, but I find the honest, mischievous, boyish parts of Subaru-kun cute, and Nozomu-kun is the righteous(?) prince type of male figure that girls adore. I think the M4 are quite wonderful.
>Tomita: Subaru-kun has been teasing Yume from the very beginning. But one way or another, he always there to help her out in times of trouble. So I think of him as something of a heroic existence. After all without Subaru there for her, Yume would be discouraged, so for me there's a character I kinda like...... (lol).
>Asai: Although I like Subaru, I find myself feeling a bit jealous when seeing things through Rola's eyes (lol).
>Tomita: Ahahaha (lol). Because he's close (to Yume).
>Asai: I end up thinking, "Rely on me instead!"
>Tomita: During episode 13, "A Tale of the Little Fairy", Nozomu-kun also teased Subaru by asking, "Subaru-kun, are you jealous?" I'd like everyone to pay attention to what kind of developments with the M4 we'll have from here on.
Asai's current favorite (as of December) is Kanata though, then Nozomu.
Some sort of new transformers police force piloted by schoolchildren anime from Takara Tomy.
>>Tomita: During episode 13, "A Tale of the Little Fairy", Nozomu-kun also teased Subaru by asking, "Subaru-kun, are you jealous?" I'd like everyone to pay attention to what kind of developments with the M4 we'll have from here on.
This leads me to think this >>152010606 is indeed significant. Interesting.
Hehehehehe Valentine's episode happening.
And it's not about Ako, dammit.
>41: Burn! Star Collecting Fest!
The theme of this year's Winter Fest is "Star Collecting Festival" where the Classes compete against each other with various performances at a certain fair/market in Yotsuboshi.
>42: The Two Childhood Friends (don't get your hopes up)
Yotsuboshi's record label wants the Dance Class to create music clips regularly. Yuzu is to be paired with someone, but will she be able to find an idol who can keep up with her dancing?
Yume receives an unexpected offer to perform on a popular program for all ages called "The Best Music Show". This is a huge chance for her to become known mainstream, so Yume is incredibly eager. But then Subaru, who will be appearing with her on the show, says something that concerns her...
>44: A Hint of Spring
Roller can't wait for the S4 Selection in spring. She has done all that has to be done, but something is still missing. Mahiru feels the same. The feel that the best way to exhibit their growth is to perform on stage, so they hold an event for their unit.
>45: Ako, at Full Speed!
Ako wants to obtain a dress unique to her. To be able to do this, she'll have to pull off a big, successful concert to receive special Grade Up Glitters. But she's unable to find any available concert venue. When she finally does after much effort...!?
>(don't get your hopes up)
I will, actually. Koharu will come back.
Cool stuff all around.
I guess all the main characters are going to get a PR dress for the S4 selection, makes sense and I think it feels more earned than in OG Aikatsu where they were much more plentiful.
A couple considerations:
- That synopsis does not in any way exclude that Ako will factor into the Valentine's Day episode in some way. Even if she's not the focus, I find it hard to believe she won't be around trying to gift Subaru chocolates, and she may end up overhearing him talking to Yume or something similar.
- If every character's going to get a unique dress, then it seems likely to me that Rola and Mahiru will share the focus on getting it in episode 44. Ako is getting an episode all to herself, meaning she'd comparatively have more focus, and thus she wouldn't be a joke for once.
>Asahi will get chocolates from Yozora and Mahiru
>chocolates from fans
>none from Koharu
>45: Ako, at Full Speed!
We're actually getting a dress episode, and it's about best Stars, I'm hype. It doesn't seem like the top designer will show up though, which is a bit disappointing. Would be neat if Ako meets them in the episode and they're a former S4 or something.
Who else produces enough mikl to make butter?
Why is there so much GJ-bu art today?
Dogakobo did say they're working on a sequel this year, but it's sadly not GJ-bu most likely. Although I'd be happy for almost of any of their shows to get an S2,
but they better not have meant Luck & Logic.
GJ-bu does seem to have a small, yet pretty dedicated fanbase in Japan, I have no idea why there's a lot of art today specifically though.
Yeah, but it seemed like they meant an unannounced project, L&LS2 was announced as soon as the first one ended. Still it's what's most likely.
This, it wasn't bad. Personally I thought it was boring most of the time, and also lacked the charm their animation normally has.
>[bitmap] Rilu Rilu Fairilu - Yousei no Door - 32 [58BE6D4D].mkv
Fairilu's still kicking.
It's good to know you're still going.
Also just watched the latest episode. It's like Frozen meets The Snowman.
