Stella anime adaptation was very unfortunate.
The original manga is quite special for MT Kirara, since it manages to tell a constantly moving story with compelling character development using the same shits n' giggles cute girl 4 koma format as other kirara series.
The people who handled the adaptation completely disregarded that and adapted it the exact same way as every other fuckaround kirara anime, on top of that thanks to it being 12 episodes they couldn't even adapt volume 3, where all initial character arcs paid of, ending in the worst possible place.
They also completely dropped game dev explanation pages, which is a real shame.
So what we got out of it is a regular SoL anime that's just cute, but since it's not as cute and good looking as New Game in the season before it or Urara the season after everyone's going to forget Stella no Mahou ever existed in a couple of months.

I cry every night at all the potential wasted.
