I wish that I had gotten into actively running anime when there were seasons of several good (or at least notable) series at a time. I remember internet speeds being absolutely shit at the time though so I don't know how you guys managed it, even downloading manga was slow as hell off IRC or FTP.

Fall 2006 < Winter 2007 defined my early high school years. It was also the period where all the poor kids and spics had a death note and nurutu headbands

I regret not spending a majority of my NEET time on anime instead of porn, and 3D porn at that.

Like if I could take back all the time I spent wasted on porn and replace it with time spent watching all the classic series and anything else, I would have been better off I feel, and had done something marginally more productive.

At least I managed to watch all of LoGH, that was an experience, fucking amazing show.

You make a good point about internet speeds though, yet at the same time its harder to find good fansubs and it may be harder to find old shows you want to watch that everyones seen years ago with good seeds.

It had its fair share of drama but I'm glad it had a relatively positive ending, they knew the anime would attract actual shut-ins that identify with satou and they didn't want to drag them further down by telling them there is no escape. They also know it's their wet dream that someone like Misaki just pops up and wants to help them, the whole anime seemed like an attempt to cheer up Hikikomoris a little while still telling them it won't magically go away because after all Misaki could not help him, it was only after she stopped helping him that he got out.
