Looks so nice, isnt it ??
AI will help to make illustration...

What did he mean by this?

That if the >automatic colorization of illustrations is true then that's good news.

When will neural networks be able to draw anime art?
>>
>>151704388
Painting of animation will came soon
In 5 years or something I think
>>
>>151704388
The problem is that anime is pretty stylized and based on imagination, both things neural nets are bad at. Though the data problem is actually partially solved these days, with all the people that stream themselves making anime drawings, all you would need to do is ask them to do one or two from reference, with that you could eventually build up an anime style neural net that can convert streams of real images into anime people.
>>
>>151700859
Is this gonna be publicly available like waifu2x?
>>
>>151700859

Looks kinda like what Prisma does.
>>
Doesnt look very creative since the AI probably was trained on a set of available art style and its usual colouring. I think it may be good for helping a single author, not for overall industry.
>>
>>151705061
currently not public but it would be
>>
>>151700859
That looks pretty good. I hope people realize the prototype of a new technology is simply testing the theory at first and not supposed to be a demonstration of the full capacity of that technologies extension.

where do I download this progam?

>let put all the works on AI
I dont like this idea. It will hurt the people who are already struggling to work in anime industry more.
>>
>>151706748
You don't understand, when robots can do all the work, people can eat for free. There's no point in the system if it doesn't benefit humans. And don't say people not having to work is a bad thing faggot. Artists dedicated to making good hand drawn anime and illustrations will be free to continue doing so, those who never really cared weren't going to do anything great with it anyway.
>>
>>151706834
>when robots can do all the work, people can eat for free
Yes, because that's worked so well for people in manufacturing.
>>
>>151706834
Except when robot can do all the work, no company will bother hiring more employees than a fixed amount, thus unemployment rate and wealth gap will be greater (it already happens in Japan right now).
No one will give you anything "free" to survive cause that's not how the world works. But I dont expect someone who said "don't say people not having to work is a bad thing" understand that.
>>
>>151706834
>You don't understand, when robots can do all the work, people can eat for free.

I keep hearing this, but why on earth would the food/energy producers and owners of those robots let people eat for free? The whole world depending on them will just make them ask for more. I don't think new-agers understand capitalism.
>>
>>151704388
When CG is perfected. Then the AI just has to analyze millions of hours of NTR before it makes something involving your waifu.
>>
>>151707132
>I don't think new-agers understand capitalism
which will lead to the death of capitalism?
>>
>>151707132
Obviously we let them starve to death. Why hire humans when you have robots?
>>
>>151706834
Post scarcity age will only begun once the ai wipes out the humans. No way would we be allowed to reach that level of freedom.
>>
>>151707317

What would kill it? Those who can make farmer robots can make terminators all the same. Then corporations will have power exceeding governments (they already do).

A sentient AI taking control before that happens is humanity's only hope, really.
>>
>>151706834
That's not how capitalist systems work though.
>>
>>151706834
too bad our society being a post scarcity one is pretty much a pipe dream. unless somebody creates a matter replicator and makes sure it comes to the public
>>
>>151707606
>post scarcity
The "post-scarcity utopia" is pretty much a myth because it only deals with material scarcity. People need more than just things to be happy.
>>
>>151706834
>You don't understand, when robots can do all the work, people can eat for free.

I wish I could be simplistically naive as you are.
>>
>>151707606
All you need is a basic income scheme.
There's still a latent mindset that we should incentivize people to do things that are immediately productive enough to earn a wage, but that ignores the reality that there's less of that kind of work available every day. The incentive of becoming rich will still exist regardless of whether you have to work a minimum wage job on the way up.
Taxing workers to pay non-workers may sound unfair, but if work is truly optional, it's not unfair at all. Work is almost always becoming easier and more productive due to technology, so it makes sense for the society that provided a safe place to develop that technology to share in the wealth. And the best way to help society is to keep all of its people healthy, fed, and unstressed.
>>
>>151708168
>Taxing workers to pay non-workers may sound unfair,
Well, unfair enough that they will never stop fighting the idea, no matter what.
>Work is almost always becoming easier and more productive due to technology
Total horseshit. More and more work is piled up on fewer people because technology enables one to handle the jobs of a dozen. That only makes things continuously harder for inexperienced people to get into the system, on top of overburdening the rest.
>the best way to help society is to keep all of its people healthy, fed, and unstressed
The best way to help society is to eliminate all those who consume but don't produce. And to those who have it well, this is becoming all the more attractive as an idea.
>>
>>151708303
>The best way to help society is to eliminate all those who consume but don't produce.
So shitposting will keep us safe? Sounds good to me.
>>
>>151700859
This is really fucking cool. I love the direction we're going in this kind of shit.
>>
>>151708303
Do you not know what automation is?
Monitoring as a machine does something rote is objectively easier than doing it by hand.

> 512x512pxの線画を縮小して1段階目で128x128pxを塗って、2段階目で512x512pxを着色するネットワークも学習させました(2段階目もネットワークの形はほとんど同じだが、入力を4chにして新たにトレーニングし直し。こっちはアド婆なしです)
> (We also learned a network that shrinks the 512 x 512 px line drawing, paints 128 x 128 px at the first step, and coloring 512 x 512 px at the second step (the network shape is almost the same at the second step, but the input is changed to 4 ch Training again, this time there is no Adogama))

Can someone do a better translation of this? I don't get why the scale down to 128px..
>>
>>151708939
You need the context.

Basically he's saying that he trained a network that shrinks a 512x512 lineart down to 128x128 and applies color there, then took the training data and applied it to unresized 512x512 images.
He did this probably because it takes less time to train on data of smaller size, and the training results applied to larger images is pretty much the same.
The shape of the neural network is pretty much the same, except he had to re-train the network with 4 channel images (RGB + alpha), and this time he did not use an Adversarial Network.

Because they would be murdered and their family raped if they didn't.
