I guess you're talking about the order of the episodes.
The first arc (school) doesn't have a strong first/second episode so maybe they wanted shock value to get people hooked with the show. Personally, the first arc (factory) is my least favorite but it is the only one they could've used to start the series if they didn't want to use too much info that you get in the later episodes.
