At least we'll always have the first 9 episodes. That's something, right?
How long are you going to cry about it like a bitch? It fucking took long enough but the show finally stopped fucking around and started actually moving the plot. If it had done so earlier it might not have flopped so hard and kept it's position as main contender for aots.
Keijo, Hibike S2, and Girlish Number were all better than Flip Flappers because of episodes 10-12.
Objectively, even people with shit taste can see how FliFla jumped the shark on the ending.
If people with shit taste think the ending was bad then that all speaks for itself. Hate to tell you this, but you were one of them the whole time.
Hate this meme, Flip Flappers was not episodic. It wasn't even close to episodic. You can't even watch the episodes out of order.
Fuck you. Stop fucking up these threads with your bullshit posts.
It's okay OP, I agree with you. This show was way better when it was just trying to be fun and weird. Then it tried to be deep and """touching"""" too and it just kinda went to shit. Would have been much better if they didn't even bother trying to explain anything. It literally would have been better if every episode was just a different adventure like the first one and then at the last episode it just shows some random 3D boy in real life waking up from a dream and having to go to school or some shit.
I'm sure Cocona loves Papika's deep touching
>making multiple parallel threads is generalfaggotry
So I'm still confused as to how the anime is doing on the market. Are they making money or losing it?
>uexkull is really popular overseas
>overseas fans intensely enjoyed flifla. me too.
>so many uexkull
>flifla is loved, love
>uexkull is really popular overseas
But he isn't
I would like to as well.
Is there even a way to make this process simple? I have the cash I just can't be arsed to sift through the guide and figure out proxy-buyers and shit.
Why can't it be as simple as swiping my credit card and getting a package in the mail?
Hahaha, it seems your little card backfired on you!
>go to brush my teeth
>looking at myself in the mirror, get flashbacks of memorable moments in the show
>eyes water a bit as it finally hits me
>this is it, its over- Flip Flappers is done. No OVAs, no season 2, this is it
>return to room
>Based Oshiyama retweeted our card, said it makes him happy
>Feel my heart swell, unable to contain my mixed feelings of bittersweet happiness, I type this out.
Pic related is how I feel right now. It was great flip flapping with you all.
>BDs are out
>Find out that you get an extra disc if you got them all
>Pop it in
>See the studio, people talking about anime development
>On of the walls has the card printed out on the wall
guys I am so fucking happy right now, you guys just cemented these flip flappers threads as the best time I have ever had on /a/. Thank you all.
Now there is no more to discuss, we have accomplished a great thing. That means I think its about time I take my leave. It was good anons.....thanks for everything.
I'll see you all next adventure, whenever that may be.
>+60 dollars for shipping
Nevermind, price matters
I'm going to miss dedicated shitposting threads.
The response I saw on 2ch was actually mostly positive to the plot and explanation coming along so it probably did better for the show in terms of sales. After the final episode the preorder ranking has gone higher than it has ever been.
N-no ofcourse not. You s-shouldn't base your opinion on others hating this s-shit. W-we don't want you to watch it anyways.
I am the son of a Saudi Prince and just wanted to inform you that I was going to buy 3Hz and let them make a series of movie sequels to Flip Flappers, but since I am appalled by the plot in episode 10 and onwards, I am not not going to.
Totally A Billionnaire
We liked it enough to put together a big collaborative thing to send to the director and studio working on the show. The majority opinion in these threads is that it is a really amazing show that we love, but one that has some noticeable flaws. Its awesome, but its not perfect. Some in here go as far as to call it a masterpiece, but not everyone agrees on that point. Some people are more sensitive to the flaws of the show than others, but almost everyone besides the shitposters agree that the show was worth the watch.
But really, instead of asking us, just pick it up and form your own opinion.
>That exact moment when everything goes off rails
snek so random
I kind of want that tanu box from Amazon, but I didn't look at the specifics. Not sure if I could still order them myself to avoid tax, but have a friend in Japan do the codes/shipping for the artbox.
>MY SHOW IS SO PERFECT
>ONLY ONE PERSON HATES MY SHOW
heh, so this is the power of Flip Flapping....not bad......
Positive reinforcement is always stronger than negative reinforcement
If you want to get somebody off their ass you don't tell them how bad their life is, you give them hope for a better one.
Do you not see the irony in what you just did?
Is this the fruit of all our efforts?
Now if only I could muster some of the YuYuYu magic and impact the sales.
We Uexkull now.
Also, very happy they noticed us.
The plot will be Uexkull thrown into random bad dreams and getting bullied by monsters, until he finds a stone and eats it. It then turns into the humanoid super Uexkull and kicks ass.
Except we're not the ones constantly posting about how we were totally going to do a thing but now won't. Guess what, making a 3 minute doodle in MSPaint is indeed actually better than that.
I'm so happy they liked it.
>he didn't answer my Nyunyu question
>Except we're not the ones constantly posting about how we were totally going to do a thing
Except you're all going about how you're supporting the show and shit when you're doing nothing but sending pictures.
Believe Anon! They are aware of western interest now. I could see this show getting on Toonami/Adult Swim and garnering the same normalfag/interest/introduction to anime that FLCL did years ago.
The Japanese are becoming more aware of it too, despite having almost no advertisement. It just might happen anon!
I get it. Your life is as much as a shitposter.
If studios were smart enough to have donation boxes (no publishers involved), I would give them money.
Japs are dumb though. I hope they enjoy the pennies they get from streamfaggotry.
In fact I feel like emailing every big studio and telling them to do it, but that would require effort.
>The artist will see people love their work
"LOVE" doesn't put food on their plates.
>the businessman will see a love that can be exploited.
For more pictures.
>They're saying so
>the definitive and only way to show support is to buy BDs
It doesn't have to fund another season. It's a simple thank you. Buying the BDs would be optimal for the studio but that's not always how it goes.
Each bluray disc is something like $70, comes with 2 episodes. Now scale helps them a little but it isn't like with hollywood movies or american sitcoms, they get pre-orders because making too many fucks them. With that in mind: there's a bluray with 2 episodes which likely have animation redraws that they need to recover costs for, new audio commentary to pay people for, there's packaging designing and materials and art, there's extras like booklets referring to production, and then they have to pay to make the discs and have the product assembled. There are also bonuses that are unique to different shops, like boxes or posters, that you may not pay for directly but workers need to be paid for. It isn't as if they burn a disc with what aired on tv and mark up the price for fun.
I was hoping I could bum a proxy recommendation off you. I've never done buyfaggotry before so the idea of paying a thousand dollars to have something sent to a complete stranger on good faith has me antsy
The jew publishers get BD money. The studio are paid to produce the show and that's it.
Am i the only one who'll get to enjoy a lewd PapiCoco phone card?
He isn't saying he's interested in the western audience in that twit, Einstein. Can't you follow a simple conversation? Do I have to make a shitty Paint doodle for you to understand what is being talked about?
It's the only way they can cope.
The jew publishers are the ones who pay the studio. If the jew publisher make good money of the studio's work, they'll be happy to pay that studio for work again. If a given franchise makes them lots of money, they'll pay to have more things like that made.
If you like the product of a financial risk, you should vote with your wallet so the people who took that financial risk know that it was vindicated. Otherwise they'll just go back to making safe investments with seasonal LN haremshit adaptations and fujo-pandering.
>He isn't saying he's interested in the western audience in that twit, Einstein. Can't you follow a simple conversation?
Yeah, because ordering discs through a fucking remailer will totally show them how interested the Western audience is.
So you guys know how those fuckers at Toonami and Adult Swim comes to Crunchyroll for suggestions. When they do that in Feb can you guys vote FliFla if it ever comes up? The anime club though out colleges will try to get it up in the polls.
I know LWA for some idiotic reason gets instantly pushed to the top of the que but FliFla would be awesome if they run it on Adult Swim.
What drives people to stay in a thread of a show they hate?
they do and it's kind of hilarious to watch them try and figure out anime. because on the one hand it depicts women as having breasts and butts, which is bad. but on the other hand it is overly representative of female characters, which SJWs think is good because they don't realize it's just for the sake of giving men and boys spank material.
I hope he keeps being a yurifag and this is not a one time only thing
SJWs have extremely negative view on traps because it sexualize girls (males).
Of course many of them are simply feminazis who think you must be born female to be a woman.
I agree with them wholeheartedly.
You should know that there's no going back for him now, sever since liking this picture.
He's one of /u/s now.
I hope you're not implying that watching something on Crunchyroll, an officially licensed service, is actually a good thing, because you're going to make the guy that thinks that pirating anime and then buying a boxset every decade is the only morally valid way to support the creators even madder.
>how do I beat zant
>why do dogs eat their puppy's placenta
What did she mean by this?
>sending money to the people directly responsible for Flip Flappers' existence
I guess I'm not an idiot that participates in cringy card things, so I don't get it.
It kind of felt like they made a checklist of things they wanted in their finale
>Yayaka and Mimi henshins
>papika and cocona childhood friend scene
>cocona and papika separated
>salt getting into PI through ELPIS
>gar Uex back
Then they tried their best to string them together, regardless of whether or not they really needed them.
>you'll never be as mad as this one autist over the fact that people liked a cartoon enough to draw pictures and say thanks
I thought my life sucked but this really puts things in perspective
No you see, spending a ton of money on overpriced BDs or being a cynical edgemaster on /a/ are the two only valid ways to watch anime. And if you do both you can even post about your moral superiority on /a/!
It was weird, because by the end of episode 11 it really felt like they had enough time to finish the story without rushing anything. I guess they tried to fit too much shit and couldn't decide what to cut.
Yeah, I agree, but I still love the show despite this flaw, on of my personal favorites of all time. But if it was 15 episodes instead of 13, they could have fit it all and kept a reasonable pace, and it would probably be GOAT for a lot more people.
Yes and yes.
Papika would put her mouth on anything Cocona. Hygiene doesn't even register on her mind, and even if she didn't like it she would never disobey Cocona
Cocona is a naughty girl that enjoys the shameful arousal when she plays with her butt. She's a total ass princess and the kind of bossy bottom that would demand her pooper be pampered if Papika wants to get anything for herself.

>on of my personal favorites of all time
You know, I have a slight feeling that your list of best anime of all time includes only three or four anime. I also feel like you have watched nothing but those three or four anime.
The guy shitposting didn't even buy the BD
Being young and in love is the best time to have sex.
Best thing is they don't even have to worry about accidental pregnancy - though looking at PI, I suppose it's not impossible for them to use some of its magic to produce offspring (but this would be willingly and not accidental).
>i'm really feeling it
God fucking dammit
>i'm really feeling it
Yeah. Really feeling all those potential buyers gone because they could get to feel like they're contributing to anything with their done-in-two-minutes drawing.
Most of them were actually really good and lots of fun, with only 3-4 very persistent trollposters who were so obvious that we have been laughing at them non-stop for at least 5 weeks now.
I bought every single BD, actually helped animate the show, and am the director. Thank you for Flip Flapping.
Did Flip Flappers give birth to a new
"Not allowed to dislike/must buy the BDs"-kun? What have we done?
>really feeling it
So we really did become the Flip Flappers. Pottery.
Not that kid, but if anyone can buy the BDs - that is, buying them isn't putting a strain in your budget - then we should try buying them.
If we want more works like these ones, then buying the actual works or merchandise is the only way we can ensure they keep making works like these.
It's probably the same guy.
It's a nice coincidence that he stopped spamming walls of text about boogeymen and crack around the same time this broken record shitposter cropped up out.

>When did you switch from the original Space Opera to a road movie story about Pure Illusion?
>You are also focused on depicting battle and action, right?
>You are moving fancy from the OP.
>You are putting more emphasis on events related to Pure Illusion than action.
>Although many parodies and metaphors are packed in the film of this work, is the director himself familiar with such subjects?
>Speaking of the image side, please tell me about tanu's appointment.
>What kind of work is concept art?

>Does yourself have a commitment to "yuri" by yourself?
>What do you think is the times when the director's color comes out?
>By the way did you like "Flashman"?
>You are also appearing as a voice actor in episode 5, aren't you?
>Who is your favorite character especially in this work?
>One word to viewers who are looking forward to the final story at the end.
PSA, new rules just coming in from shitposter HQ:
not only do you have to buy the BDs, and it has to be the Japanese ones, and have to buy them through the infinite webstore (because anything else would be giving money to the wrong people), you also have to do it NOW, otherwise it doesn't count.
Tapestries help more proportionally I think since they hire the artist themselves from the animation team to do them and there is more of a profit margin per tapestry bought compared to a figurine.
But I'm going to buy the papika figure anyways so the more the merrier.
You don't HAVE to buy the BDs. You can just tweet some random shitty drawing of a green splodge, say it's Uexkull, and voila! You're supporting the show like the best of them! Now let's all stand in awe as 3Hz closes.
"There are five possible ways in which you can support a show. If you can buy the BDs, buy the BDs; if you cannot buy the BDs, buy the DVDs; if you cannot buy the DVDs, buy related materials; if you cannot buy related materials, buy merchandise; if you cannot buy merchandise, die."

Papika initially, but then they have a fight over it because the way Papika pushes Cocona into it only turns her off and makes her not want to have sex. Once Papika calms down, Cocona opens up, and takes charge more often.
>What do they do first?
A lot of grinding and dry humping.
The fag going on about people not buying BD's isn't buying one himself so I don't know why you all keep replying to him

Spoon feed me, reverse search didn't help me.
Watching the ending to Flip Flappers and seeing Cocona and Papika so absolutely in love, snuggling and hugging like everything was right in the world, was like the sweet taste of a hot cup of coffee on a snowy winter morning, anon. It's a soothing warmth that goes right down into my core and emanates outwards until I can feel their happiness flush across my cheeks.
But it's a short lived feeling. Seeing them find what they needed just reminds me that I never will. This warmth I feel when I watch them is proof I can't deny that I want this thing they found in each other, and it hurts so much to want what you can't ever have.
The characters got their ending and found their lasting happiness but my happiness lasted only a few hours. My coffee is cold now, anon, and all I taste is bitterness. That’s why I’m still here, and that’s why I’m still responding
The Shining was directly referenced in episode 5, that's why I'm assuming it's that one. But it would make sense if he simply answered with Kubrick's filmography.
What's next after deaging a mother's best friend and making her the daughter's girlfriend?
Not even a 1% chance of an OVA. Give it up, anon.
>not Eyes Wide Shut
Do you even Kubrick?
Did you happen to also draw this?
>sex scene animated by Yuasa

>Oshiyama "The first person who draws oneself draws an original picture as well as it explains the flow from one story to the person participating in the work for the first time to paint and correct it, so I can get the original picture fee"
>Yuasa "Supervision fee is cheap, is not it?"
>Osamu "I got Naruto well enough"
is there a point you're trying to make
I love my daughter Papika and am very happy she found a cute wife.
Interesting that you are still using pain sai.
Clip Studio Paint is a natural progression from sai I felt. Feels like using sai but with more things. You should try it sometime.
I like this feeling. Flipflappers compelled a lot of us to draw and personally for me... made me pick up the pen after a long time.
Have flipflappers looked in thru my DeepPI and changed it? These thoughts that the story of Papika, Cocona, Yayaka and the whole of flipflappers have imparted us is nice indeed.
Now that the dust has settled, can we all agree that imouto Papika was the best Papika variation?
Papika is the best Papika but Papino is high tier.
Papiyo was my favorite though.
Now that I think about it, I'm a little sad the KKK didn't matter at all in the end.
>your qt imouto will never make you breakfast with heart shaped carrots
Just kill me now, familia.
It was a bit of an anticlimax, but their comeuppance was so glorious, and so spectacularly subverted my expectations that I can't help but enjoy it. 9 episodes of ominous buildup came to a head in a single glorious reckoning.
>Imouto Papika was feeding her sweet carrots because at that point she was still confusing Cocona with Mimi
>people watch this and hate it because it leaves some things up to interpretation
This anime had me strung-along so badly, I got a little emotional at what's supposed to be a pretty bat shit and silly show.
Great execution of the twists, good drama, primary cast characters that you gave such a goddamned fuck about just because of their chemistry and how empty they'd leave another character by dying, and a fake bad-ending that hits harder than ff9's (without the completely retarded reason behind ff9's, but that's neither here nor there).
Papika's still a fucking pedophile though. Holy fuck.
You shoud've known it was bunk just by the fact that some westerner thought it pertinent to insert "ani" into a word without a shred of irony. That shit is niwaka as fuck and a dead giveaway that someone is a self-important poser.
Cocona could've kissed Papika on the cheek right at the end when they were on the surfboard and this show would've ended perfectly.
Still fine with what I got, though.
I'm okay with the cheek-snuggle because it's basically how someone who doesn't yet know how to kiss would try to show the affection a kiss expresses. Cocona is too pure for kissu.
It's like how the mentally handicapped tend to dry hump things because they're horny but too impaired to know what sex is. Snuggles are the dry hump of kisses
Get a hobby. Watch more anime. Change the time you log in bit with other stuff.
Find a hobby. Draw or program or something.
Sure log in when you feel like you want to have a bit of fun.
Think of it like quitting cigarettes.
Or did it redeem itself and it's a bit more fun again? Might log in to have a bit of fun if so.
Glad to see someone from there is enjoying flipflappers though
Elevens have a serious problem with physical affection. Its really apparent in the moment between Mimi and Cocona in the dick tree. Everyone complained about muh agency, and I'm here wondering why these two are standing a mile apart.
Cocona's little nuzzle was adorable and gay as fuck all the same.
My plan is got get a few of the BDs over a period of time and a Papika for my desk.
I fucking want a Papika for my desk. Something needs to be happy around here.
I actually thought it was a kiss when i saw it, it goes by so fast it looks like they purposely made this a little ambiguous for the whole "how do you see it" angle they were working into the whole show.
>the main conflict is with overprotective mum
>it's played out like evangelion
I'm sorry, no amount of visual trickery or lesbians could hide how fucking stupid it was.
The only thing stopping me from dropping a thousand dollars on the whole damn box set is the fact that I wont even be able to watch the damn things because they aren't subbed. All the extras and shit will never even get a fan effort so they might as well not even exist.
I don't even own a goddamn BD player.
