It was mildly traumatic, I think my brain tried to erase most of it because I don't really remember much of what happened. Basically I just remember Lovepon's autistic "Execute x!," MC being a part of some cliché "having to pretend to be his own twin" twist, his best friend having some sort of keikaku revolving around MC's uselessness that made him feel better about himself and that Nanaki either making you old if you leave without dealing with them or making you fall asleep forever if you stay without dealing with them. It doesn't make much sense, but I have a suspicion that it didn't make sense when I watched it, either.

I do have a soft spot for teen dramas, but NagiAsu just left a stronger impression on me compared to most of the other shows of this kind.

The marraige of fantasy and thematic elements was beautiful. A show about emotional and literal stasis. A show where those who are emotionally stagnant are those who physically endure time while those who wish to change are in a literal stasis. The trials of the characters endured showed the sea god who himself was both in literal and emotional stasis the truth of relationships. The sea god was in search of a meaningful relationship with his people free of emotional pain. However such a thing does not exist. Love is like the sea. You have to embrace the pain as with the joy and that is when new feelings are born.

Yes this is pasta, but it's the best description of NagiAsu I've seen on this board and I truly agree with everything that was said.
