So, as I was looking through the archives I found a post that I overlooked a year ago. Last year I was assigned to send Eric of CA some Akari stuff. One of the gifts I sent was a box of tea (http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=97998). To go along with the tea, I sent a tea ball (pic related) to put the tea inside. It got mixed up with the packing material and was sent to another anon. Imagine the confusion when you receive a tea ball with no tea, you might think it was soundless jingle bell. Well, Eric of CA, I hope you found a way to enjoy the tea regardless.

GO from ON, Canada here. I was seriously ill this entire week, but I drove all the way back to my parents place tonight and got these!

The original gift was the card + tablet, which got returned to sender after 1 missed delivery attempt (Canada Post I guess). He also sent the GuP soundtrack in the meantime while my package was being resent, and both ended up arriving today!

After this thread due to it already being January, I think it would be safe to say that no more threads are particularly needed. I know that people will still be receiving late cards and such, but from here forward I would like to kindly ask that we refrain from holding any more. From the shadows we will be dishing out the anti-grinch squad to relieve people of their giftlessness. We will possibly hold one more thread in the future to make some announcements, but it is more likely than not that all this will be held 9 months from now at the end of September when we bring secret s/a/nta back again. You are more than welcome to take pictures for anything late and begin posting them in that thread, though I know 9 months is a long time.

In regards to santafaggot quitting, there will be some things done about that, but it will not affect anyone in participating in the event for years to come. I think cards are a known risk. Over the past three years I have received about 60% of cards, which seems to be common. Last year I received a card in February that basically said "sorry I'm late but here is your xmas card for valentine's day!", which was nice. Even though it arrived a week late for Valentine's Day.

These are my /ss/ Christmas Cards from last year, not this one. I was out of the country for study abroad - got home the evening of the 23rd and was immediately in the car off for the holidays the next morning. I didn't get a chance to even look at any of them until after New Years, well after the threads had ended. Yes, the hoodie was part of a card, I was very surprised too. I absolutely love it, wear it all the time around the house now. I'm afraid I've lost all info on who sent what, so I hope the wonderful anons who sent these see it and know they were appreciated, even if it is a year later.
