Forgotten shows is my mental food.

Theres something about dusting off some generic flopped show - and contrary to belief it doesnt even have to be that old, just pick a random anime from say a seasosn a few years ago or fuck even just from last year you will find something practically everyone forgot about now.

You have to force yourself through since they tend to be so bland, still it always makes me think, damn even this shit required countless workhours to produce, even this was some day a hope of somones, there were folks who wanted it to be something, it was marketed, they TRIED to sell it and generate attention, but it just bit the dust. But whats even more mindblowing to me is that even these shows had at one point a fanbase no matter how small, hell there maybe still some people who recall these shows as their personal gems. It always makes me wonder what happened after the hard reality hit the creators and the fans?

I think I can say this aspect fuels depression/sadness craving inside me, observing a piece of past almost no one wanted to exist and no one cares for, its fucked up but also satisfies the part of me that wants to do good, as if im doing service to the creators by paying attention to their work.

But I find it hard to explain it what exactly clicks about the shows, maybe it taps into generalised nostalgia, maybe theres so little stimulating my mind, so little to pay attention to you involuntary do deconstructions.

You see an old forgotten monolith thats completely abandoned, rusted, fell on its side, entirely desolate and alone. You walk to it and wipe a little dust of. You wonder if it has feelings - of course it doesnt, but the people who made it did, and they are part of it. But even if you clean it off entirely, whats the point? it will stay forever there, unchanged, and as soon as you leave, it will just continue gaining dust, until its completely buried.
