Since there is no thread for announcements and PVs, I'm making one.
>Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu PV
>Uchouten Kazoku 2 airing Spring 2017
Nanoha Reflection Movie for July 22nd.
Was nice knowing you, anon.
sweatyPing Pong Girls was your favorite anime this season, because you're gonna be hanging with sweatyNippon Boys come August.
Stay hydrated and don't die from heat exhaustion.
Huge mistake to put out a really good PV and still not deliver a game 6+ months later
>Illya clock sold out
>it was sold out three hours ago
Fuck. I knew I should have bee-lined for the SL booth for that shit.
>he didn't watch one of the best anime of the last decade
>he tries to act like anime master while failing horribly
>he can't see the two titles at the top (they're even in latin alphabet for fuck's sake)
Yeah, I know you are baiting, but it's stronger than me.
I want that Ripple mousepad.
There's some really stunning cosplayers out there.
>Comiket happening right now
>Nintendo get the entire place to make a announciment in January.
The timing is pretty funny with this.
>The world you know is under threat by aliens, named "Oburi" (apparitions). These enemies are too strong for normal humans, and are especially threatening due to the fact that they can travel through to the 'fourth' dimension where they can be safe. For some reason, certain young girls are able to harness the power to transverse these dimensions, and enter a 'fifth' dimension - a parallel universe.
>There are endless amounts of parallel universes, all of which are similar but run in their own way. The Schoolgirl Strikers are able to fight the Oburi by searching these alternate worlds for alternative "Memory Card" (Memoca) costumes that are usable by them and effective against the "Oburi".
>You have been chosen by a mysterious person to lead a group of 5 girls in defeating an enemy that is threatening to destroy the world. Why you were chosen and who you are yourself is a mystery...
I wonder if we are gonna get a booth of us?
Good job, C91Anons.
>For some reason, certain young girls are able to harness the power to transverse these dimensions, and enter a 'fifth' dimension - a parallel universe.
>Why you were chosen and who you are yourself is a mystery...
I love it.
>Ragnastrike Angels is a Japanese short anime series airing on TV consisting of 12, 30-second long episodes airing from April 3, 2016 to June 2016,
>30-second long episodes
of all the promo images why this one. they all look awful.
>tfw that art book will probably start at auction at 10k
fujos ruin everything
I see Sawano and I-IV in staff.
>Threads seems even more dead with each passing year.
That or im getting old.
What is this old hag doing there?
Unless their cameras are like seven years old at least universally in Japan (which I doubt, considering they're right next to Samsung, Huawei and the place that makes iPhones), I think it's just that they're downscaling or sneaking pics with tiny cameras when they're not supposed to.
Fuck I forgot Comiket is today
First day is Gay porn, second day is Tuhu and third day is normal porn right?
I kind of want to go tomorrow, will it be worth it? I am into anything that is not gay porn
Nigga it is mostly boats nowdays
I went there on the first day two years ago and it was literary a sea of fujoshi bullshit as far as the eye could see
Whats pvs by the way?
Many thanks I might go tomorrow
Would love to go on the 31st as well but idk since its so close to new years
We have to wait until after 2020 for the international eye to fall off of Japan due to the fucking stupid Olympics.
They're going to crack down until there's no loli left to criticize by then.
Thankfully, censorship forces have taken something of a cultural hit since the Rasputin cult thing was revealed in SK, so Japan has a bit of leeway to tell pearl-clutching "child abuse prevention activists" to fuck off.
Yeah, third day is the porn day as far as I know, I visited winter 2014 and summer 2015 and both times on the third day there was like only porn
I think I will go tomorrow, see some of you there maybe
>sad realization that my proxy probably won't get even half of what I requested
I wish authors would publish their stuff or overprint a bit. Maybe I'll go in summer.
Go home Yoshiko.
I skipped almost everything that would get printed or put online. That being said, I'm really surprised how many popular artists that sell out in the first hour or two never get scanned.
I'm a little bit disappointed that artists don't go the way of Black Friday and just have a larger post-comiket digitization and DL sales of works.
Sure, that's a near-sure way to get your work pirated, but conversely it's the only way a lot of people will ever get to enjoy what you made. As well, not EVERYBODY is going to pirate your work, so for a lot of smaller-time artists, it should be good publicity AND a chance to sell more than what they can even invest into a physical war chest of stock for Comiket (if they even snag a coveted ticket for a spot).
There's a lot more digital works compared to five years ago (and certainly further than that) but it's still rather small considering how easy it should be to just upload your shit and forget about it on DLsite, MelonbooksDL, or
That's because we're gaijin using proxies to buy our shit. We have to be choosy because about 30-50% of the total cost for doujin imports is lost to proxies and shipping of products to us depending where we live.
If I was a billionaire, I would make it my quest to preserve every piece of porn that comes out of Comiket.
But I'm not, ;_;.
Keep in mind that japan dont have parody laws as west, companies just turn blind eye because possible freelancers and culture.
Make too much money and thy are going crackdown on you.
Even in the West, companies mostly turn a blind eye because it's not a good look to start suing your fans. Keep it small-scale, and they won't notice or will ignore you.
Like, it's only a matter of time before someone like Sakimi-chan gets BTFO'd by Disney or whoever.
It's pretty good coming from a guy who is very skeptical of shows like that (ie. Ping Pong and so on)
Not the material itself at all but in how /a/ generally holds them in such a high regard. I always had the idea that it was either pretentious or that it could never be as good as they say.
Donate blood for a bunch of posters and wall scrolls.
My motherfucking dick just exploded
Just watch it, anon-kun.
Gintama is pretty redpilled.
It is 231 pages, but it isn't just a Yurii!!! on Ice book - it contains a ton of stuff by Tadashi Hiramatsu.
It is pretty nice, with lots of full color prints. The Comiket version came with an extra book (the smaller one next to it) with a lot of b&w character designs, sketches, and stuff like that.
Please do, there's no music thread /jp/ yet like usual with a spreadsheet.
Depends on the book. If it is way out in bumfuck nowhere near other circles then don't cross your fingers, unless it is something you don't really anticipate selling out in which case I can just wander by near the end or something.
The artist is pretty popular, so I assume they have a good spot.
They usually sell books online, but at the last minute they said they would only be selling this at the event. So I've been scrambling to try and get it.
>hayate and rein2 actually doing things
>arisa and suzuka getting some screen time
well, that's a major deviation from the canon timeline. hope they'll do something interesting with it
That circles isn't near anything on my list, so I may not get by there in time if they are popular and sell out. My game plan always gets fucked up by some stupid shit on day 3 - circles with fucked up lines, staff preventing access from certain parts of the halls, etc. If I can grab it without too much hassle then I will give it a shot.
I see. Well, if you do manage to get it here's a throw away e-mail address I use.
Thank you regardless.
Just a hassle, because they upload that on pixiv like 12 hours before the event started saying they wouldn't be selling that doujin online.
they should've used Washizu to advertise the campaign
Where are the trap circle located, in the homo area or in the normal area ?
It was an honor sharing the same train car as him today.
