They really should've have just gone with HF out the door to profit off the Fate/Zero hype. They're still high school kids, but the general tone is so similar that the disappointment amongst secondaries would have been minimal or non-existent.

Because it is UFOTABLE that is animating it. The biggest mistake they made is the decision to adapt UBW into TV series, and HF into movies. It would be way much better if UBW was a movie, and HF was a series. Wait, UBW movie already exists? Then go watch it. It is far superior

The only good part of UBW is Rin and Shiro's interactions with eachother. When you cut out like 10 hours of them talking the route looks like a burning dumpster and makes him look like a much shittier character than he actually is. Also his internal monologues~
