I can understand that, but when the point of the manga, and monstergirls as a whole is the differences between them and humans, and you don't do all that much to set them apart, it just seems like a poor choice.

It's definitely a fumble. I couldn't take the yuki onna's arc about feeling ostracized due to her nature seriously. She's so normal compared to the girl that goes around carrying her head.

Yeah, but they also like to bring up all the problems the have living in a world meant for humans, and how exotic the MC thinks they are. Really, one of the only major problems is the succubi having a fuck aura, and even that can be dealt with fairly easily.

Sort of the point I'm trying to make. Them being demis just seems a bit superficia most of the timel. There's a whole lot you could do with the concept but they just sorta push it to the side.
