Araki is returning to his horror roots and that's a great thing.
Plus, we've never seen Araki show zombies in an urban setting like Morioh, and he is pitting zombies agaisnt characters that can't instantly obliterate them or heal from wounds sustained by them, and can actually be infected.
I don't even like zombies and I'm hyped for this.

Of course, Kira’s father went to Egypt and obtained the bow and arrow from Enya to protect his son. Right around then, DIO was looking for allies around the world and Kira’s father was one of those accepted as having potential by him. The same for Okuyasu’s father. People who had been scouted by DIO were all around the world, and even among them, Kira’s father and Okuyasu’s father may have had extra attention paid to them as they were in Japan along with Jotaro. For the mother, I haven’t drawn anything about her at all, but I think she may have done a sort of ‘abusive coddling’ towards Kira. That’ll be scary right?

But I had to cut it out with much reluctance… or maybe I should say that I didn’t have the courage to draw that out. Like I said before, I didn’t want to detail Kira’s past too much. I drew out Kira’s mental state when killing, but if I started delving into the fundamental reason why he kills, Kira becomes a sort of sympathetic character… if you start emphasizing with Kira that’s not really appropriate for a Shonen manga. I didn’t want readers to feel sympathy. That may be the hardest thing about drawing out Kira. Although I think I might have been able to add another two or three volume if I started delving into Kira’s mental state, his motivations and his relationship with his parents.

Man, it'll probably be a handful of zombies and then Gappy wins but it'd be pretty cray if Morioh goes full blown zombie apocalypse and the whole town gets involved. I really liked the fights in Part 6 where the non-stand using world took notice, like the military trying to get to the Kennedy Space Centre. But Araki always avoids that for obvious reasons.

I seriously don't think this series will keep going with adaptations. The only thing we can count on now is the remaining Part 4 releases up through June.

DIO's idea of Heaven was being free from fate and able to do as you want, Pucci took it the other way and it being completely powerless over fate but being able to see it coming and resolve yourself because of his repressed guilt over getting his sister killed. It's kind of cool and ironic that Pucci's emotional weakness (guilt and desperate need for closure) ended up being so much more refined, dangerous and ultimately successful than DIO's emotional strength (Relentless pursuit of power).

DIO had plenty to work with and he just sat around in his mansion while his henchmen were defeated one by one, whereas Pucci had hardly anything but his own stand and his wits but worked his fingers to the bone carrying out a complicated plan that came to fruition.

It annoys me so much how people radically mischaracterise Pucci and Valentine. They're my favourite villains in the series but people who think Pucci was just a DIOdrone or Valentine was right or even morally ambiguous miss everything that makes them both good. Both of them have valid reasons for how they acted, but Giorno was actively keeping stuff from Abbacchio. Abbacchio was (at the time) loyal to the boss and was trying to make them all do as they'd been ordered as to not attract his ire, since in his eyes Giorno was just pointlessly ignoring orders just to be a little shit. Although he was rude and harsh he was actively trying to keep Giorno safe, just like in the Purple Haze fight.

Giorno was playing an entirely different game from Abbacchio in that he was spying on the tower encounter and thus alerted to the weird shit that was going on. His actions are reasonable and respectable from his own viewpoint (and Abbacchio's too, given how he eventually came back to doing the right thing simply for the sake of doing the right thing) but since the only one who knew anything was Buccellati he just came off as a disobedient moron.

The characters truly in the wrong here were Narancia, Mista and Fugo. While Giorno was (seemingly) being a shithead and Abbacchio was desperately trying to keep in line they were doing nothing but watching and fighting over chocolates.

Don't forget Buccellati, either. Although they didn't get as many one-on-one talks as some of the others, Abbacchio was by the far the most dedicated and obedient to him that went beyond merely following gang orders. Hence him being the first one to get on the boat even though he knew he wasn't obliged to. And they worked together really well in the Soft Machine fight too, when Abbacchio worked out what was going on he had complete confidence that Buccellati would work it out.

Buccellati cared about him too, after Abbacchio's death on Sardinia he bit his lip hard enough to make it bleed, an impressive feat for a zombie.

What ever happened with that arcade game? Is it still being made?
