The kind of logic of Dragon Ball Super, ignore half the story, and make a new ending ova

in worst case, instead of being robots dealing with the mortality of Otaru and being a kind of inmortal robot.
they just have the little girls from J to X as grown ups.

They don't have to ignore J to X though, the teaser picture maks sense. At the end of J to X they became human children, they ages and so did Otaru. The OVA could be them just being humans looking like they did normally.

Its gonna be weird for sure if that's the case, takes away from the battles that was the core of the franchise, shit's gotta have a depressing tone with Otaru being old as well.

If old Otaru dies, they could clone him, and have a baby otaru, so they now can rise him like their son and love him.
