Nothing went wrong. It was an average show. It wasn't terrible enough to deem it a train wreck and form a following around that, but it wasn't great enough to attract viewers on it's own merits. No subs didn't really help either.

It didn't help when Yukina got captured in every other episode only to get saved by Ken.
But I'm pretty sure they made this show as a joke, only to take the piss out of several tropes used too much in anime because I have no idea why they would include scenes such as this.

It was average.

The ending would've led into something way more interesting but S2 never so who cares.
