Since there's a new YGO movie releasing next month here in the west, I thought it would be cool to dump the original manga which the movie is based off of. For those of you who only ever watched the anime, I highly recommend reading the manga as it's much darker and better written than the anime was imo. There's also none of the fillers you have to deal with. Since the movie is releasing on Jan 27, 2017, I will dump one volume a day leading up to its release.
Today we will finish volume 7 which concludes the third major arc in YGO: Monster World RPG!

Chapter 52
So did Bakura just make those dolls right there, or did he somehow predict which classes they'd use based off their personality?

No, before the game started he gave character sheets to everyone and asked them fill out info on it related to what kind of character they want to be. Then he used that data to craft the miniatures they use in the game.

So this is where that Zorc ritual card comes from. Neat.
Chapter 59
And that concludes the Monster World RPG arc as well as the 7th volume of YGO!
Now, from this point the story takes a drastic change. The everyday school life chapters with random games are no more! From now on Duel Monsters becomes the name of the game. As such the fourth major arc in the YGO manga will be Duelist Kingdom, an arc many of you should be very familiar with (if you watched the anime) albeit with some differences since it wasn't adapted to anime perfectly. Even though the story revolves around card games the plot and characters become much more focused. The story really begins to take off from Duelist Kingdom imo, so I hope you continue to read.
With that said I also have a bit of a caveat. As you can probably tell by the last few chapters, the quality of the scans have gone down since the time I started dumping the manga. Unfortunately for the rest of the manga the scans won't be of that high consistent quality. There will be good scans, decent scans, some bad scans, and even sub-par translated scans. I would still say they are readable and easy to understand. This is a shonen manga after all so it's nothing too complex. But anyways I encourage you to stick with the story, it really starts to come into its own.
Also, if you're interested in purchasing tickets for DSOD next month you can visit yugiohtickets.com to see if a local theater is playing it near you.
Have a Merry Christmas and hope to see you tomorrow as we begin the infamous Duelist Kingdom arc!
