I didn't like the part 4 ending as much as the other parts.

Part 1 was emotional and bittersweet
Part 2 had emotional moments(caesar, wamuu, etc.) and ended with classic joseph shenanigans
Part 3 was badass, fitting with jotaro's personality, jotaro defeats dio, yare yare, badass cool kid ending

Then part 4, josuke shits all over kira for 3 episodes, okuyasu dies and it's sad but he just comes back to life 'cus he wanted to, throw in jotaro at the last bit to ORAORAORAORA kira to death. Then "some people we don't really know died but now everything thing's back to normal" it was just so anticlimactic

The problem with Part 3 is that conceptually it's fucking dumb. The justification for the "Stand of the week" format is so fucking flimsy and illogical and the entire thing is built around it.

Part 4 benefits greatly from taking place in one recognizable location and makes use of this fact for a lot of its fights, most notably Highway Star.

Looking at a synopsis of Part 3 the first question that should immediately pop into your head is "Why do the Stand users fight the main characters one at a time?" and as far as I can remember there's absolutely no solid justification for this. Like, if Vanilla Ice teamed up with one other Stand user it would have been over for Jotaro and the gang.

Combine that with Part 3's other biggest flaw, Jotaro being an utterly boring and uninteresting protagonist, and you have a deeply flawed story on your hands. Part 3 subsists on its iconicism, not its quality.

Did they ever explain who the guy who saved Josuke as a kid was? The guy with the same shitty hair. I totally expected some kind of time travel shenanigans at the end of this part where Josuke would save his own past self or something.
