I don't understand how people can get into shonen battle manga. Their length and weekly release scheme means I always get bored and stop giving a fuck around the halfway point, and they rely on cliché far more than any other genre besides maybe shoujo romance stuff or ecchi battle harem manga.

I mean fuck, the fights mostly suck too. Most nip artists know barely any more about good paneling or scene composition than western capeshit authors - and the choreography is usually only a smidge better.

I just don't understand how you can still be into the genre past your teenage years.

OPM: I really like it. Not a favorite, but still enjoyable to read.

SNS: dropped it months ago. Check up on it every once in a blue moon to see how my favorite characters are doing. It was fun in the beginning, but went downhill.

BNHA: It's alright. Don't really get the hype desu.

Nanatsu: Don't read it and don't plan to.

BC: Same as Nanatsu.

black clover and bnha are basically naruto except worse, don't bother except if you want to see a swordman harem protag naruto and a sweaty sperg version of sasuke

nah they're all pretty trash, just read the retro ones in your backlog

I like BNHA and OPM.

Black Clover is self-admittedly a guilty pleasure.

Nanatsu is meh. I love the art and designs.

Haven't had a real interest in SKNS

To You the Immortal by A Silent Voice's mangaka have potentials
The Ancient Magus' Bride is a little slow but it delivers the impacts when it needs to
Kengan Ashura is like this Street Fighters: the manga
