I liked Sengoku Collection quite a bit. It's probably my favorite anime that nobody remembers. The way each episode was based off of a movie was pretty interesting and ensured that every episode had its own unique feel. Further, while some episodes weren't all that great, several were absolutely 10/10 and I find myself going back to watch them every now and again.

There threads would go a lot better if some of you didn't have such shitty file names

I've always wanted to get to watching Ruin Explorers. Isn't it just an OVA though?

It's not exactly le hidden gem, but anyone remember Ristorante Paradiso?

I finished it about a month ago, and in hindsight I think it should be in talks as one of the best Josei anime. If anything I felt as though it challenged my expectations and caused me to reconsider romance, which is rare when most anime romances are high school shitshows. It's hard to like the characters sometimes, but they're interesting and their reasons are justifiable within their worldview. The style/tone are unique, and the music is from the same folks who did Aria (a similarly comfy show).

Just think it deserves better.
