Pudding isn't really evil, she's just doing all this to cause tension between the vinsmokes/big mom to maybe start a fight between them, during the chaos of which, she can help luffy/nami/sanji/chopper/carrot/brook/pedro escape.

Otherwise it makes no sense for Oda to show panels of pudding being disapproving of big mom. She was crying because though she was saying what she said, her real emotions were that of crying.

This makes sense for why she's going evil. I mean sanji did explain to her how he had nobody on his side and that his family actually didn't care anything about him. So doing this to reiju and telling her that plan is a great way for her to get the vinsmokes involved in helping sanji escape. Plus if she knows that sanji is out there it would also push him into wanting to escape and not be in love with her( or so she thinks). Only thing that's gives me pause is the whispering thing. It's no point in telling luffy and Nami that unless she really is evil. Unless she thinks and knows that they would also try to help her escape too since they now know that BM wants to kill Lola for running away and would definitely kill pudding for ruining such a huge marriage also. People already saying that this twist was completely out of the blue and not foreshadowed at all.
Let me break it into three basic pointers for all you Spee D. Readers.

Point 1) Pudding didn't receive an introduction box. We've seen almost every major character in an arc getting one, and some even are re-introduced once their true identity is revealed (Momonosuke, for example) Pudding doesn't have one, which means we haven't seen her TRUE nature as of yet.

Point 2) Big Mom learning about straw hat having arrived only moments after they set foot on WCI. How? Pudding supposedly covered up for them, didn't she? Yet in the -very same chapter- big mom is singing with the homies, and revealing she learned about Luffy n co' having arrived. It's obvious Pudding snail'd Big Mom and told her of their arrival right after she sent them to Brulee.

Point 3) Pudding sending Luffy and the others to the Seducing Woods. She told them she'd meet them on the coast. But of course she wasn't there, only a random animal made from Brulee's powers. How? Pudding arranged this with Brulee. She told her the SH crew would arrive shortly, so Brulee used her powers beforehand to fuck with the SH crew and keep them busy. She was waiting when they arrived.

Many more points to make, but I'm sure it's easier to move a mountain than convince this bunch of delusionals that this twist was expected and foreshadowed chapters ago.
